Lets Be Real. This Team

You're probably right. The concern I have is how are we going to build a good resume to have a high seed.

A win against Kansas would have helped immensely.

I guess the SEC is a double edged sword this year. A lot more chances for quality wins than usual but that could also mean more losses. This team may not get it together and take too many losses, who knows. My argument was just that every freshman PG since Cal got here has looked lost at this point in the year and except for Harrow (who oddly wasn't a freshman) figured out what Cal wanted from them in time. Green/SGA may not be Wall/Bledsoe but they aren't Harrow/Polson either. I believe when they figure it out the offense will be serviceable on a bad night to unbeatable when the 3s are falling. Assuming as a team they buy into using their length to rebound and erase shots at the rim on a nightly basis.

I don't get why WE always state, "Who Cares If We Lose Games In Regular Season" as long as were ready for March. I mean its important to win those regular season games. Much rather be playing an easy route than being a 6-9 seed... Or the excuse of "Were Still To Young" we always say that right up until March, not to mention its the cycle of Kentucky Basketball nowdays. Its like Alabama Football saying, "Who Cares If We Lose Our Regular Season Games" as long as were ready for our bowl. If we that attitude they be playing in the Texas Bowl lol.

Cal has a winning percentage of over 82% here while playing one of the toughest non-conference schedules year after year and dealing with the "everybody's superbowl" crap UK deals with on the road in the SEC. He's also taken out the 1 seed on the way to the final four as both an 8 and 4 seed.

Some people can't be pleased.

It's not really "not caring". I mean these games will decide our seed which in turn decides our path in the NCAA tournament. So these games are definitely meaningful.

The thing is I think most come to the realization that when you have constant turnover like we do, it's going to take time to come together. I don't think anyone watched last night thinking "oh this doesn't matter" but I do think most watched it thinking where we are in November is going to be alot different than where we are in March.

Shooting is obviously going to be a weak point. Defensively come March they have the length and athleticism to be the best team in the country. If they find a way to take the ball to the rim 80% of the time and play great d and rebound I like their chances to do well. It's way to early to write this team off. I will feel a lot better when Vando and Baker are @100%.

False. They're 18. It's the youngest team in probably the history of college basketball. And as far as back courts go, they had to play a trio of guards with about 300x the college experience, all of whom, will probably wind up drafted (although I don't think they are really anything special, in terms of NBA talent).
Not sure about the draft stock of the Kansas back court ATM. Maybe Newman

Checked maybe a week ago, Svi and Graham are both in there. But I agree, doubt they amount to anything in the NBA. Both of their stocks have fallen if I'm not mistaken, and will continue to fall as that team is really nothing great. They are not Frank Mason, and he's not Fox, Wall, Knight, Bledsoe, etc.

Well when the Cats play your team on December 29th and are setting at 10-1
or at worst 9-2 you will have a different opinion. Now take your ass back to that
dumpster fire of a basketball program.
