Also, we have players costing the team terrible, seed affecting losses, by jacking up five 3s and 14 shots total to attempt to come out of their slump. It would be different if we had the game in hand. That’s wasn’t the case, however. Someone else should’ve been taking those shots.
I get it if someone was flat out personally insulting a player...but I dont think it's fair to act like you cant criticize a players play. Hell dont some of them make millions now? I think their lives will be just fine if someone points out them stinking in a game.
Just calling it like I see it. Why is this guy getting starter minutes? Maybe if Cal would treat players the same, across the board, there wouldn’t be much said. That’s not what’s going on here.
Commenting on a players performance is entirely warranted here. It is a sports message board afterall. We give the players props when they play well and criticize their play when they don’t. I’m sure players are instructed to block the noise. If they don’t want to read critical comments then pretty easy, don’t come here and stay off social media completely. Comes with the territory. I would agree that personal shots need not be taken but their performances, lack of effort etc are fair game. Edwards as an individual from what I have heard is as solid as they come, as a basketball player he has a ways to go to reach his hype. Hope he gets there.

It shows that he did not want Reed here, ONLY because the fans really wanted him. The other day I didn't want to say this but I'm wondering if the truth about a lot of things is going to come out when he moves on and he's not longer holding onto former players for recruiting reasons.
Sharpe was not player . He never played . That was the problem criticism of him is not as a Player but as a Smuc.k.I typically focus my angst on the guy making 9 mill a year to coach this team. But if a player deserves criticism like Sharpe etc, I'm not going to hold my tongue, so that would be a be "negatory" for your request.
EVERY player on this team is being paid more to play here than the Median salary of residents of this state. You kind of give up the privelege of avoiding criticism when you start getting paid for what you do
