I hope it's not too soon.
I betting neither start and only get 10-15 mins enough to keep us fresh and from falling behind if we get a lead. If we had either for 10-15 mins in that Texas game I think we win. Hopefully that’s how it plays out tonight. They give us just enough to push us over the top and get a W.

I wouldn't play em this game .I think we can beat Okie without em. Give em a few more days practice work before Auburn which will be an incredibly physical game

With several teams trending up, a loss to Oklahoma would 100% have us treding down. "Too soon" goes out the window at this juncture.
Nah. We can slip a seed or two if it means they are as healthy as possible in the NCAA tournament. If we use them to cling to a 3 seed and then they end up hurt for post season, what have we gained?

I sorta agree with this but at the same time, I want them to get a game in before the Auburn matchup. I think if we have our entire team against them we are pulling that one off.

I have mixed emotions.

I don’t like them coming back for Oklahoma. Then again, we tend to play down to our competition, especially on the road. OU needs a big win and I’m sure their crowd will be up for the game. We need this win.

P.S. If the game is in hand late in the 2nd half, please get them to the bench, Coach.

Getting them back in even a limited role is good, great news, for us !

I'm concerned of some rust and meshing back with the lineup with the expanded role of those filling in and what that means chemistry - wise. And I don't want to see them come back too soon so as it might set them back recovering fully.

That said, I'm trusting Coach Pope on this. He's gonna navigate us as best as we can possibly hope for, as he has done all season long, considering all the circumstances.... there sure have been enough.

Maybe we can get everyone back and have everyone clicking by the SEC tournament. Roll through the SEC tournament like old days ... Who knows ... lots of basketball to be played yet... I like our chances !

Go Big Blue !

My guess is they warm up and go from there, if they do fine then I’d bet there’s a good chance they give it a go to knock some rust off before auburn. I do think they both play Saturday though, tonight will be see how warm ups go and proceed from there. We can and should win without them tonight but getting back 2 of our starters will be huge for these last 4 games.

Oklahoma is not your normal bottom of the standings type team. Didn't they win the Maui? Plus, it's a road game. We should win this game, but I'm a little nervous.

Am I right that Oweh played for OK last year? Hopefully he’s way up for this one and we can like others said play them 10-15 min max to get their legs back under them. Yes there is always the risk of reinjury but if it wasn’t a small chance I don’t think either one gets ran out there with what’s on the line in March.

I would hope and trust that Pope knows their condition better than we do and I really like the idea of easing them back in while testing the lineups a bit in a game that we should/might have room to try some things. Our freshmen are way ahead of where they were a few weeks ago. I think ya gotta play with that some, if ya get the chance to, with LB and JR healthy.

Yep exactly it’s hard enough on the road in the SEC when everyone is healthy. We know Kriisa is out and Carr Butler and Robinson aren’t 100%. Gone are the days of the SEC being a top heavy 1-3 team league it’s a freaking beast now. With the talent and coaching all around it’s similar to what the Big East was back in the day.

If they’re ready - play em both. We’ve got to get this game tonight and LSU with Auburn and Missouri looking like tough wins. That would put us at 9-9. Respectable considering the injuries we’ve dealt with.
