Last day to enter the transfer portal

So if Livingston withdraws he has to come back to KY if he wants to play? Did he enter his name an I missed it?

That's what frustrates me.If Oscar leaves Bradshaw/Ugo need to share the 5 and Livingston the 4 if he returns. But Chris refuses to play the 4 and Aaron refuse to play the 5 which puts us in a mess.
None of that would happen. Obviously Kentucky would pickup a center in the portal

Tucker and Pilgrim both said they don't think he enters the portal. It's now NBA vs UK.
They both said he would enter the portal. They both said he wouldn't. Those clowns say both things on every situation.

There was never a chance that CL would transfer. Pilgrim and Tucker know less than matt jones, if that's even possible.

Cal doesn’t listen to anyone period. No one on this board needs you telling us anything. I’ve been involved with basketball my entire life and UK means something to me. We can discuss here all we want and if you don’t like what is being said don’t participate. Doesn’t make an opinion wrong because you don’t like it or agree with it.

This response was in reply to Kl and a bunch of numbers and his reply to me on page one. Not sure why it didn’t take.

Don’t know why people think Livingston is a 4. He is 6’6 and about 210. He cannot guard big power forwards like Kobe Brown or the Brazile kid at Ark. cal never knows what to do with half the players he gets. If CL leaves it’s another Cal bust.
Problem is, he damn sure isn’t a 3. He doesn’t have the ball skills to play on the wing. His handle isn’t good enough and his first step isn’t quick enough. Not to mention, he can’t guard elite 3s either. He’s more of a 4 than he is a 3. JMO.

Problem is he, and probably Klutch, thinks he's a SG. Nobody is going to be happy.

I'd like to think if Livingston returns he could be significantly improved. He did progress toward the end of last season.

He's a nice utility player who can complement a more talented group of scorers. But if anyone - Klutch, Chris, et al. - think he's a go-to scorer or someone who can lead a team, they're in fantasy land.

I'm still irritated he jacked that awful 3 late in the KState game, but whatever. Horrible decision. But who knows, could have been Cal ... like having Liggins take the 3 in the closing seconds against UConn in the F4 in Houston when we were down 2. I digress ...

I actually think CL can be a very good player, maybe our 2nd (or at least 3rd) leading scorer next year (if no Oscar), behind Edwards and maybe Wagner.

And if we are playing "4 out", which we mostly did last year (Toppin stayed in that left corner A LOT), honestly what is the difference in playing as a 3 or a 4?
The 4 may guard a taller/bigger guy, that's it!!!
And guess what, even though the NBA has fallen in love w/ the 3pt shot, it is still full of grown-ass men, lots of 6'8-6'9 guys at SF. So if CL wants to play the 3 in the NBA he better get used to guarding those bigger guys now. And in no world is he or will he ever be a 2. He's a "3/4 tweener".
So play him at F w/ Edwards. No SF or PF, just 2 Forwards.

Read on HOB that the advanced stats say that CL was the worst forward that played 25 minutes a game that Cal has had here. That’s pretty wild.

Well, if he returns, you’ll either have to deal with a 6’6, 225 lbs. Livingston guarding a 6’8-6’9, 240 lbs. 4 man or guarding a 6’5-6’6, 200 lbs. 3 man. Pick your poison. And with Edwards (6’7, 200 lbs.) likely starting beside him, I’m going to put Livingston on the 4 man.

I think with Livingston back and if Tshiebwe stays in the draft, Cal needs to play like we did in 2012. Play Livingston like Jones(4) and Bradshaw like Davis(5). Not saying either one is Jones or Davis good, but that is the best formula for those two together.

Man, Jones was so damn good here! Unbelievable talent.

Well, I have no delusions that Livingston can play as well as Jones or Bradshaw will be anywhere near as good as Davis, but I do think that is the formula for the Livingston-Bradshaw combo.

With Livingston back we would have a pretty solid team (assuming Reeves also returns). We still need a backup 4, maybe Keshad Johnson can fill that role.

PG Wagner/Dillingham
SG Reeves/Sheppard
SF Edwards/Thiero
PF Livingston/Johnson
C Bradshaw/Onyenso

Don't expect UK to get involved but since Tucker mentioned UK....

Reasonable minds can differ. I don't see that at all out of Livingston, at least as a sophomore. Again, I think he's a really good utility player at the collegiate level. Take him out of UK, and he's the type you see helping his team in the tourney as a senior, but not as the go-to scorer or guy taking the big shot in crunch time.

Your job DOES have a portal. Its the open market. Monster, Indeed, LinkedIn, Personal Networking. You can transfer to another employer whenever you want!
I've never had any luck on any of those sites. Nothing but spam and recruiters pretending to interview for open positions when they're just building an applicant pool for something that *might* be open in the next 20 years.
