Three times recently I have heard him talk about the U of L scandal, and three times he has shoehorned the Eric Bledsoe thing into the conversation. Even the Underdogs were telling him that was a pretty big stretch.

Don't know who that is but obviously associated with UL , he should address the Louisville situation by itself . It really shows how UK dominates their lives , even when their program is burning down they are focused on us . I can't help but think that UL's lust to be UK has put them in their current situation .

Haven't listened to him since '12. When he said UK was a borderline tournament team without Anthony Davis I asked myself "why am I listening to a person talk about sports who knows very little about sports?" Internet provides way better info and humor than Lach

Don't listen to Lachlan. He took an institution in sports talk 840 and after he was done with it, it was not even worth keeping on the air. He was terrible. Not just because he hated UK but because his radio was lowest common denominator crap.

Disagreed with him a lot, but that's not the case. He wrote an article that is on wlky.com where he is not sticking up for Pitino at all, but said he thought he would keep his job because Jurich does what he wants and doesn't care what anyone thinks. Said the program got away from Pitino and UL fans will have to develop thick skin to put up with the ridicule that will come. I didn't detect any homerism at all. He's a UVA fan and doesn't live here anymore, so he has no reason to shill for them.

He always tried to pass himself off as equal opportunity but he always made excuses for UofL's difficencies and tore down UK's accomplishments. Total tool that used BBN to boost his floundering ratings and pandered to UofL's fanbase as much as he could. I was glad when he left and now it doesn't surprise me that he is interjecting himself into this situation and trying to bring UK down with him even though UK had nothing to do with this.

McLean has always had a bee in his bonnet about Cal. He will use any excuse to jab at UK/Calipari. He said on his radio show that he was neutral when it came to the UK/UofL rivalry but after getting suspended (thanks to Jurich) for a month a few years ago for reading a poem about Willie Williams he has shown his bias against UK even more.

no he's not back. One of the Louisville TV stations hired him to do a weekly sports story post. I believe his first week back was 2 weeks ago and he blasted Louisville and suggested everyone should go. People here can call him a Louisville fan but in fact he's a Virginia fan who worked in Louisville. At first his show was about honest sports debate and he was fairly neutral. In his final years working in Louisville he just became a sports shock jock taking controversial opinions like Skip Bayless does to get people to call in / listen.

I also listened, he doesn't have a deep hatred for UK, he does show bias but not just out and out hate. HOWEVER, he does have a hatred for Cal, on the show he said, 'everybody knows that Cal had Bledsoe's grades changed and that was equal to the ul scandal '. Even Vanetti (sp) said it wasn't a close comparison but LM declared there was little difference is any at all. When you fail on a flamethrower like WHAS then you aren't worthy to be on the air and thus, he is off wallowing in the what could have been.

I don't think he's a UofL fan as much as he simply seems to hate UK. Early on, I actually enjoyed his show - granted there were digs at Kentucky, but they were nothing like the junk you hear now.

Having 100% proof that schools have committed serious violations and having to SPECULATE on whether the NCAA will even decide to punish them.

What's the point of having an overseeing body if they literally MAKE UP the rules as they go?!!!

UL will get some sanctions, but even if they didn't the damage has been done. Their recruiting will suck and they won't be able to get rid of the stench of this hooker scandal for 20 years. Couldn't happen to a better bunch. The win at all costs and keep up with big brother mentality has ruined UL's reputation and made them a laughing stock. That program is rotten to the core.

Just feel comfort in knowing that old Lach is existing in a world of irrelevance at this point in time. He could state that Cal is a member of ISIS and it wouldn't even create a ripple of controversy.

Also, he is a UVA grad and fan, but there is zero doubt that he despises Cal and it's likely for reasons outside of just having heard rumors. He likely has some story of him feeling slighted by Cal at some point and that's his motivation for holding this grudge.

Plus, his wife is a total L1C4 homer, so I assume that helps.
