You need more than 9 quality players at UK. When we have our usual 2 injuries we would be down to 7. I’m so sick and tired of having 7-8 players. We need 11 that can play at this level. It shouldn’t be that hard.
That is why we need another big, it could be rough down low.
I think he will get better the more he is on the court. His 4 to 5 minutes he got into a game last year is not enough time to improve your game.

If that is the case, we are in trouble, IMHO. Onyenso is not quite ready to be a 25+ minute contributor.
What is everyone's dreamworld best case scenario wrt Oscar/Reeves/Livingston/K.Brown/Nelson/K.Johnson/Miranda/Phillips/Bandaogo/Kaluma/Nkamhoa/Collins-returning/Lawrence/others or even some crazy unexpected wildcard like Timme/Jackson-Davis/ToluSmith?
And Cal is going to hear about it. What happens if Ugo gets hurt. Who plays the 5?!
Cousins averaged 23.5 MPG in his year here. It’s unlikely Onyenso will beat that even as a starter.
It would force the #1 center in the freshman class to play the position he’s suppose to.

Best case scenario to me is Tshiebwe, Livingston, and Reeves back. I like the idea of getting players back. Brown might be better than Livingston, but Livingston has a lot of potential and he is already a Cat, so I would like to see him stick around.
Those three plus Wagner, Edwards, Bradshaw, and Dillingham would make for a nice core.

Sadly I just see Reeves back and adding Johnson.

It sounds like we have Johnson committing, and 6'8 Edwards around. With 6'5 Reeves capable of playing the 3. Personally, it would be the ideal situation as that's the lineup I think would be most successful.
As will Onyenso.
Give me Johnson over Livingston any day.
