I'm excited for the guy. With our slashers we may finally start to see lobs againI like ugo, and want him to play but him being a 25-30 min center in the SEC scares the hell out of me
You won't be excited for long. The SEC is a man's league.I'm excited for the guy. With our slashers we may finally start to see lobs again
Miranda didn’t even play, why he is going thru the process? Just to check it out for fun? Can’t play all 40 minutes, in fact, I doubt he plays more than 20 minutes a game, so Cal has to sign someone else or play Bradshaw at the 5.
My guess, Cal makes a big push for Isaiah Miranda, who is currently going through the draft process.
He's trying to pull a Sharpe but he's not good so it won't work.Miranda didn’t even play, why he is going thru the process? Just to check it out for fun?
I was about to say that but it didn’t make sense lol. Cause like you said he’s not that good. He's trying to pull a Sharpe but he's not good so it won't work.
You need more than 9 quality players at UK. When we have our usual 2 injuries we would be down to 7. I’m so sick and tired of having 7-8 players. We need 11 that can play at this level. It shouldn’t be that hard.UGO will not be starting center…. The lineup Will potentially look like this…
Dillingham
Wagner
Edwards
Johnson
Bradshaw
This is assuming KJ comes here.. Bradshaw will be a hybrid 5 who shoots 3’s… There is no way a starter from a runner up NC team comes here to come off the bench..
Bench
Reeves
Theiro
Sheppard
UGO
This will be our roster.. Mark it!
He will be better able to fare well in it than will Bradshaw. You won't be excited for long. The SEC is a man's league.
That is why we need another big, it could be rough down low.He will be better able to fare well in it than will Bradshaw.
You are in good company.Grant Nelson had a poor scrimmage today.Yes I am desperate.
I think he will get better the more he is on the court. His 4 to 5 minutes he got into a game last year is not enough time to improve your game.I like ugo, and want him to play but him being a 25-30 min center in the SEC scares the hell out of me
i agreeYou won't be excited for long.The SEC is a man's league.
the big guy from Utah Valley is still available, but someone has stated that he wants a lot of NIL $Cal waited until nothing was left.
UGO returning from the portal sure smells like a starting promise from ccc, with Bradshaw promised the forward spotUGO will not be starting center…. The lineup Will potentially look like this…

If that is the case, we are in trouble, IMHO. Onyenso is not quite ready to be a 25+ minute contributor.UGO returning from the portal sure smells like a starting promise from ccc, with Bradshaw promised the forward spot
And Cal is going to hear about it. What happens if Ugo gets hurt. Who plays the 5?!Whether we like it or not

Then who plays the spot he’s going to vacate? It would force the #1 center in the freshman class to play the position he’s suppose to.
Reeves, Johnson/Livingston, & osacr/ or another transfer big and another shooterWhat is everyone's dreamworld best case scenario wrt Oscar/Reeves/Livingston/K.Brown/Nelson/K.Johnson/Miranda/Phillips/Bandaogo/Kaluma/Nkamhoa/Collins-returning/Lawrence/others or even some crazy unexpected wildcard like Timme/Jackson-Davis/ToluSmith?
Sadly I just see Reeves back and adding Johnson.Best case scenario to me is Tshiebwe, Livingston, and Reeves back. I like the idea of getting players back. Brown might be better than Livingston, but Livingston has a lot of potential and he is already a Cat, so I would like to see him stick around.
Those three plus Wagner, Edwards, Bradshaw, and Dillingham would make for a nice core.
I doubt we add anyone else, if we get those three back.
His championship is in June, and our athletic department pays him 9 million a year for thatCal putting the program through another nail biter of a summer which will invariably end in disappointment.
"Gold standard."
Because he fouled so muchCousins averaged 23.5 MPG in his year here. It’s unlikely Onyenso will beat that even as a starter.
Gold standardSo we aren't getting Brown,Nelson,Holland and Oscar is leaving.Just great.
