Kobe was a special kind of athlete. It would've been cool to see old man Kobe, and being around the game through his later years.
He needs to take that picture with him on every recruiting visit

I SERIOUSLY doubt that Kobe ever worried about being guarded by Pope.
That being said, I absolutely love that Pope values defense, is willing to switch defenses to confuse opponents, is a visionary on offense, and swears that his players will be in top physical condition.
All that, coupled with an intense will to win, and I believe we have a really good one, folks.

He did a lot for the kids and community as well. His loss was more than him just playing ball.
Yeah kobe seemed like a genuinely good person and a top level competitor but deciding to fly in those conditions to try and save a few hours in traffic shows a bit of conceit.
