ESPN updates BPI Top 25 rankings after critical Saturday of college basketball

ESPN has updated their BPI Top 25 Rankings after a critical Saturday of college basketball, where we saw plenty of upsets.

They are playing well right now. Looking at everyone else around us, it makes perfect sense. Let’e hope Cal maintains our lineup from here out regardless of players returning from injury.

The interesting thing about UK’s turnaround is that it has come with 2 key players on the bench. More than simply a question of availability, I think the change has come because of a change of roles. OT is not the same player as last season, and the turnaround reflects the team backing off of shoehorning OT into recreating last season. This year seems more like Wallace’s team than OT’s.

I would feel so much better if we had beaten South Carolina and Georgia. That really hurt, for polling, seeding, my mental health, etc.

At 20-7, we'd be in the top 15 and playing for a top 3 seed. But, alas...

If we can handle tn twice in one season, we should be able to at least win 2 more reg season games. Just sayin, its doable. We'd also get 20 wins for our reg season. I know its not the best mark in college but if we did after all that has played out this season. I think coach cal has had success. Especially when you look at other seasons he's stunk it up at.

Moved up 6 spots to NET 33rd. Dook beat the Cuse and moved up about 10.😂

Good news is AM moved up to 29th giving us our 3rd Quad 1 win in 5 days for a total of 4. AUB also at 30 making that a Quad 1 game.
