Cut down from 30 to 15 schools LOL. Sounds like going to be a bidding war.

They are all bidding wars but yes let me know when it gets down to 5 or so schools.
After Pope shows out this season recruiting will get even better
Was my son’s teammate prior to his transfer to the prep school this year. Talked to his mom a couple months ago and she said he didn’t really have a preference at that time. However, when I asked if she had a preference, she said she hoped he picked Kentucky. Said she really liked Pope and the fact that it’s just a couple hours away.
Never hurts having Mom on your side.
I really do wonder how this transfer market is going to change the recruiting freshmen and their money amounts. I still think the top will get their money through shoe deals and what not but some could see a price cut as more and more turn towards transfers.
Pope knows he is going to need a wing and a guard for sure for 26-27. Oweh and Aberdeen will graduate.
Hopefully we can get Thompson or Stokes to replace Oweh.
Then hopefully Kinney or Crowe to replace Aberdeen.
We will also lose Quaintance to the draft most likely, but he has Moreno to take over his spot.

Doubt there’s room for all four.
Let me rephrase that, I hope there’s not room for all four.
If there is, that means a lot of our underclassmen left for presumed greener pastures.
Retention and development, that’s the key.
Add two of those four HS recruits and bring the players back that can come back.
Fill in the blanks with portal guys.
Yeah, I think he could slide into the 10-man rotation by then. Someone will leave for the NBA draft or the portal and he will fill in that spot. Just not sure who will leave.
Or if we whiff on Stokes or Thompson, then Noah is the fall back at SF.
Too many possibilities to examine.
I don’t think we will ever see a four man Freshman class under Pope.
