Not shocking considering his ties to Lucas.
Hopefully we can make some up serious ground in his recruitment. Would love to see Jai lead on a high quality big man right out of the gate.

Not saying he is of the caliber of player, but watching his jumper at the top of the key, his motion reminds me a lot of Kevin Garnett.
Daimion Collins would fit in at Kentucky. @coreyevans_10 described him as “Isaiah Jackson on steroids.”

AD was 6’10, 210 entering his Senior year. Collins is listed at 6’9, 210, so very similar physically.
Now skill wise, it’s not even fair to compare.
I think ralphdaltonfan compared him to Marcus Lee, which I thought was a pretty fair comparison. I think he looks a little stronger than Lee as a HS Senior, though.

He was brought in to recruit. If he can’t he will be out of Kentucky within a few years. Calipari knows what he is doing so I’m sure jai will bring guys with him

Collins would be a very good add if Jai can sell him on UK in the way he seemed to be selling him on Texas. The Cats seem to be in good position on Hardy and Sallis and already have Hickman in the fold, but IDK where they stand with big guys outside of Hopkins, who they seem to be in excellent shape with.

A class of Hickman, Collins, Hardy, and Sallis would be great. Add a transfer or 2 with our returning players and we'll be in great shape.

I think we have a very good shot with him after bringing Jai on, but historically the “dream school” narrative has been the death knell for our chances with a prospect lol
it really has but he didn’t call Kentucky his dream school, just that the offer was a dream come true so here’s hoping that’s the opposite effect
Sisk said in his interview that this guy was a four star. How can the 20th ranked recruit be a four star? Am I missing something?
Why would we just now be looking at this guy. As badly as we need big men we should have been all over him. Sure hope Lucas joins. Maybe we can start spreading a wider net.
