Kansas-Pittsburg State

Those who are talking sh*t about Kansas tonight need to hold off because Pitt State is leaps and bounds better than Ottawa. I hope our next EXB opponent plays energetic defense like Pitt State is because Ottawa played such pathetic defense that it made our football team proud LOL

Pittsburg State is in, arguably, the best DII conference in the country. They play the best competition available at their level year after year.

You mean the 3-3 record this century?
Hahahahahaha, douchebag kansas fans trying to play the little brothel time period game.

Have a modicum of self respect. You're supposed to be a blue blood, even with only 3 titles.

Don't be like little brothel.

Funny to hear choke hawk fans play the time period game while they simultaneously jerk off to some old ass dusty rules. :sunglasses:

Kentucky has always owned your sorry program and always will.

Always.

Honestly the only date that I really care about is January 30th. You may have been alive for those games in the 50's, 60's and 70's but they don't really excite me. Someday you will have to tell me about your TV only getting 3 channels and no cell phone. My grandma tells me those stories too.

The Texas Chump Obviously cannot comprehend the Total ownage of his feathered friends by UK,maybe I
should print it en Espanol , seems like KU has several things in common with our in state feathered bird brains.

1. Complete Totally being owned by UK in Head to Head games
2. Same amount of Championships but still less than half of UK's
3. Has so many NCAA Infractions we have lost count or just too much slime to list
4. Knows how to dunk, dodge, dip, dive, and deflect
5. Confuses dreams and wishes with Reality

But at least Kansas hasn't jumped conferences 6 times to try and be like UK,even though they remain in an inferior ,over-hyped conference that is not only owned by UK,but by the SEC as well.

Do you guys use Hookers to attract recruits? That would make seven if you ran a Brothel in Lawrence, but I hear there is a Really good team in the Wichita area,Wichita State is a very good basketball team I hear

My point ... there are Kentucky fans in this thread acting like the barnyard rooster after Kentucky's thrashing of basically high school competition (sure NAIA may have some comparable to D2 teams, but Ottawa isn't one of them). I'm not arguing that Kentucky is not one of the more talented teams in D1, but to judge KU off an exhibition is a little silly. I ensure you the effort you witnessed against Pitt State will not be the same effort you see once the season starts or on January 30th.

but this is exactly what KU fans did after winning the WUG. that competition was crap....yet KU fans will defend it to the death that they were good teams over there.

The bottom line is those games did happen. There is proof and that proof shows that UK owns KU.

Oh, I can play the pick a time period game too!

UK is 3-0 against KU (with 3 pretty convincing ass kickings) this decade! The time period game sure is fun.

I find it hilarious that KU fans are the first to dismiss history when it comes to UK's accomplishments. Yet, they are the first ones to say they invented basketball and talk about peach basket days in order to boost their reputation among the elite.

Pretty pathetic actually.

Kansas fans love their history. Except the part that includes being owned by Kentucky. None of that history counts.

I rewatched the KU game and until Pitt got tired, they played like a good mid major team..... just without the size. They have one hell of a Division 2 coach. But there are things to worry about with KU..... KU needs Diallo bad because a team with equal size can just shut them down inside and KU will have games where they struggle hitting the 3.

But i saw things we should worry about with UK. Skal and humphries are too soft right now. I could see us getting down by double digits to a mid major this season if they are hitting and we arent just because our bigs wont fight and bully teams down low when we need guaranteed baskets.

Agree that we need Diallo, as our only post players capable of scoring down low are Bragg and Ellis. Lucas was playing with a bad back and was going to be held out, but wanted to play. Don't count out Mickelson this year, as I think he is going to have a big year for his talent level. But yeah, we need Diallo. I was disappointed in how our perimeter defense allowed penetration at will. Against the big boys, that is going to kill us. I chalk it up to a lack of focus based on the fact it was an exhibition. We played very well in spurts. Then completely turned it off for long stretches. I don't think Selden was playing aggressively, as he is playing on a badly sprained ankle.
