Kansas - Indiana

If he can get by with it, who cares?
Cal can’t even get Z cleared to play.
We will be better off in so many ways once he’s gone.
Decent people care when ku gets away with CRIMES and nothing is done iu and ku both suck. Yea man HOF coaches are easy to get.

IU is currently playing with a TON of emotion. Often that can come back to haunt a team later when they run out of gas. On the other side, I kinda think KU is overrated. This will be an interesting game, to say the least.

I have always said that coming out of the gate too emotional isn't good for a full game. I've seen this too many times. They just run out of steam.

KU comes from behind so often because when they start playing very aggressive defense the refs just let it go. Every single time.

Been like this for years. Honestly it’s smart coaching by Self. Why not be more aggressive on defense at that point? Nothing to lose if you’re already down. They did it to us in the 2012 championship too and almost came back because of it. I mean we were getting hammered in the post the entire second half and they called very few fouls.

I remember watching them versus missouri in phog allen that same year. I think they were down almost 20 in that one and came back and won. They fouled the absolute hell out of missouri the entire second half.

Kansas is overrated as hell but they keep finding a way to win. Purdue, Uconn(who wins that game if it’s played anywhere else), Zona, Marquette, Baylor and Houston are all better than Kansas imo. Like head and shoulders better.

KU gets a home whistle no matter where they play.

It is unreal how good of a whistle they’ve gotten over the years. I do not get it man. College officials must love them some Bill Self. I guess he knows exactly how to massage their fragile ego’s or something.

Not talking to them at all doesn’t seem to be the play. I’ve seen plenty of coaches that just leave them alone and done get the calls Kansas does. Gotta make sure you’re given them the right kind of attention i guess. Damn i hate college basketball officials. ****ing weasels man.

Sure be comforting seeing kansarse losing a close game but they seldom do it seems....

Ofcourse as i mention baylor they are getting demolished by a bad Michigan State team. Yeesh

Baylor isn’t, not if they keep getting mopped by Michigan State. Kansas is a top team as much as I hate them but they would have lost our game and this one had the Refs not suck Self off and let them mug people with no call all half. Pretty easy when you get the most important possession of the game on a clear inbound ball too.

I hate to say it, but Kansas just consistently wins. It seems like every single year they are a 1 seed, or close to it. Bill Self is a damn good coach. Like him or hate him.
You "hate to say it?"

Nah. You love to say it. You're not a Kentucky fan. That's long been established.

I've always suspected you to be a closet Kansas fan.

Maybe you should just come out of the closet at this point and admit it.

Every fanbase blames the officials when they lose, even Kansas. There are bad calls throughout every game. Humans call the fouls. Bad calls just get glorified at the end of close games.
More than the anything, there were some big time plays made by both teams the last 3 minutes. It was an good game to the end. As fans, that's all we can hope for.
My barometer is to pay attention to the coach whose kid the foul was called on. Woodson never got upset at any of those calls down the stretch. If he's not concerned about the officiating, than why should anyone else be?

No, I agree with your points overall but Kansas gets the best whistle I’ve ever seen one team get, year after year. I’ve never seen a team play as rough as they do and not even have the opponent in the 1 and 1 when they are on the ROAD! It happens every single game. In my opinion that has kept them from winning a lot of National Championship because when refs end up calling tournament games right or tighter, they aren’t used to it and their massive FT disparity goes away and they have foul trouble for the first time. The out of bounds at the end was egregious. IU would have had the ball with 18 seconds with a chance to win, Galloway was on fire, and it was setup to exactly how they beat us in 2012. Instead Kansas goes up 4 and the game was over.

I don't get the Kansas hate. I get the IU hate. If you have spent time around each fan base, you should pull for KU or be like me and not care.
Don’t understand the Kansas hate???? WTF???
They beat us by 51 in Pitinos first year of rebuilding and you don’t understand the Kansas hate? Or them right on us in wins, pitiful.

It couldn’t just be that you HATE KANSAS…….. nahhh - that wouldn’t be the reason.

The whistle Kansas gets even in the road is insane and I’d be thrilled if Kentucky even got half this treatment
Just saying. Even on our best day as far as the whistle goes where it feels like we’re getting a favorable whistle, it pales in comparison to an average Kansas game even on the road. It’s incredible and it’s good for 7-8 points per game, maybe more. That’s a monster advantage. Combine that with the opponent ALWAYS PISSING DOWN THEIR LEGS and forgetting how to play ball, and it’s Why they get the 1 seed automatically every year.

Wat? Are you serious? They are Public Enemy No. 1 now that the rat is gone.

1. This is a program that claims they are the winningest program- they aren't.
2. They constantly get protection from officials and screw over teams that play them.
3. They continuously cheat and were under freaking FBI investigation
4. This is the same program that ran up the score on UK under Roy Williams.
5. Thier past coaches and current coach have been extremely unlikable.
6. They promote criminal behavior and condone it by playing dudes that have extremely questionable backgrounds and actions.
7. Stripper poles and Snoop Dogg at a family event (I have no issues with Snoop Dogg- but time and place)
8. They like to claim bread titles as actual titles/and claim that they would've won the 2020 tourney like its fact.
9. Singing Roooock Chaaalllk.
10.

Exactly! It’s the times we live in my man.
Bit Cal can stack the deck and still can’t win.
I would end my fandom....today....if Kentucky EVER cheated the way KU has.
Again, I'm not naive or a white knight, cheating happens, but there's a line somewhere . The problem with today's society is, we've said, "Well, since cheating happens, forget the line, ANYTHING GOES!"

Integrity matters in my book.

When you play Kansas you have to play 7-10 points better no matter where you play. They will get that from the free throw line. Dickinson is a walking moving screen that is rarely called. The out of bounds play he was over the back. Kansas was allowed to be way more aggressive than IU on defense. Those things matter.

Oh I hate Kansas but the game film and stats don’t lie. Not to mention I just watched the refs screw another team a half hour ago on the road. I see you came over for validation from big brother tho.

Well turn in that card then, because your are extremely naive if you believe we never provided benefits that would have been considered against the rules for every top 50 player we have gotten in the past 30 years. Yes they got caught, but to make it that we are so much higher integrity than them....I think you should pull back the regins on that.

Amazing what you can do when you can rig the system in your favor isn't it?

Unfortunately the name of the game in college sports is win at all costs and he’s currently the best at it. In the end, years from now, no one that matters will qualify his accomplishments with “but…”. They’ll just talk about his accomplishments.

In reply to point 4, Roy asked Patino if he wanted him to call a timeout to sub. Rick flipped him off, the gloves came off after that.

Well, that's our fault then. We really REALLY need to stop glorifying cheaters in this country.
