thank god. your one of the few. It's like Andrew has incriminating evidence on Cal.Originally posted by wild mandu:
I'll say one thing, Cal will defend Andrew no matter the situation[/B]. Going in for the uncontested layup was absolutely the right thing to do, as the game would have been over. He just blew it.
That or Cal loves his players and has their backs , especially his PGs.Originally posted by miracle7s:

Not saying that at all. I like that Cal is trying to keep his players confident, but taking blame for that play is really reaching. If your point guard blows a wide open, game winning layup, it's not the coaches fault. I understand his motivation in saying what he said.Originally posted by Lucid Blue:
Yeah Cal should take a page out of Pitino's book and constantly throw his players under the bus.

As for the injury, I hope Andrew gets better.
Gotta get him in the NBA.Originally posted by miracle7s:

Omg you sound like one of those crazy UL fans. He BLEW an open layup. He literally had his hand beside the rim and all he had to do was let the ball roll off his fingers into the basket! It doesn't take a bad bounce if he doesn't screw it up. It was just as bad or worse than the open breakaway layup Blackshear bounced off the backboard against us.Originally posted by cats#1again:
Blew it? My god, the ball took an unfortunate bounce. Those things happen
Oh so you are calling Coach Cal and Andrew Harrison liars eh?Originally posted by ZaytovenCat:

As for the the injury deal, funny Andrew showed no signs of injury until late in the game when he made a terrible play when he had just had a terrible play right before that, so then he started limping around trying to make people think he messed up because he was hurt. That's one of the oldest tricks in the book, especially in basketball. A player turns it over or screws up and then acts like they're hurt so they hopefully won't be blamed for their mistake.
One would think that after a weekend that had #2-Duke go down by double digits... #4-Wisconsin lose (again)... #5-Louisville lose (again)... and #7-Arizona lose (again)... people would chill out a bit.Originally posted by UKWildcats#8:

This is the same poster who proclaimed the game lost in the 1st half on Saturday guys. You keep posting garbage like this and we will keep bringing it up
I can see it now on Tuesday night, Missouri hits a shot to go up 2-0 and this guy posts "We are in for another OT game guys, we are going to lose this one!"
If Mizzou hits that three and gets fouled on the shot... I'm turning the game off.Originally posted by dezyDeco:

But you're right... God forbid Missouri hits a 3 to start the game... because THREE to ZERO would really be insurmountable to some "fans."
Absolutely correct. The twins are starting to rival Saul Smith for the most despised UK player(s) in the modern era. I don't understand it. Yeah, they make mistakes and they haven't played particularly well the last few games (minus Aaron's 28 point mirage against Ole Miss), but these two guys were key, instrumental pieces to our run to the championship game last season and have also been key in our 15-0 start this season. Why the hate? Yeah, I'm glad Cal has their back. We have become so spoiled with the talent Cal has brought in that our expectations are becoming burdensome to our players and coaches.Originally posted by michaeluk26:
Really week shit Zay. As for the reason Cal takes up for Andrew, he knows a certain segment of our fanbase loves to throw the Twins under the bus whenever they get the opportunity. Its like clockwork. Thank God Cal has their back.

I honestly think that the Twins get more grief than anyone else because they are lumped together. People, myself included, don't always separate the two and when one of them makes a mistake it gets attributed to both of them. So, if they are both making a lot of mistakes people tend not to look at them individually, but almost like they are one player and they give them a whole lot of grief because of this. Personally, I think the Twins have done just fine. They have some growing up to do like anyone else, and they probably need to make some better decision from time to time, but I'm glad they are representing the University of Kentucky. I'm glad they decided to return, and I hope they continue to help UK win basketball games. I think as basketball fans we should certainly all love them, and we probably need to do a better job of spreading around the criticism.Originally posted by spotter34:

that is a HUGE part, it's funny that there was a thread that said "6-30 by the twins," not sure why Ulis wasn't included...He also shot % just as bad for 1/5. He was quite bad yesterday but he gained no wrath of any fans. Which i thought was interesting.Originally posted by Comebakatz3:
