So.......Ulis is gonna play right? We'll be ok without Humphries, but Ulis has to go. And I hope Briscoe can go but we'll beat these little nobodies asses regardless. If Briscoe and Hump cant go then we'll be looking at Ulis, Murray, Mathews, Lee, and Skal. With Poy, Mulder and Willis off then bench. But Briscoe needs to be out there talking trash. I'm so happy we have a big trash talker again. Now if we just had another Boogie.

Anyone that thinks UK is going to just cruise through these first two games with no struggles at all has no recollection of years past. John Wall had to hit a last second jumper in 09 to beat Miami of Ohio. I dam sure wouldn't be all warm and fuzzy playing against anyone without Tyler running the show right now. This team is young and if you give teams like Albany confidence we could be in for a dogfight.

I'm with stoneycat...we aren't playing either of last year's March versions of these teams. It's early November for everybody and talent and athleticism will prevail.
Fwiw, I'd take a loss to dUKe now if it meant whipping their asses in the big dance by 15+. Two wins being the sweetest recipe obviously.

Jason is awful. NJIT could play their A++++ game and UK could play absolutely awful and would still win by double digits. Have no idea what he's talking about and even more alarming is that several people actually agreed with him. Some of you really need to get your heads screwed on straight, or, you know, just watch a bit of basketball before you offer commentary on it.

Nothing wrong with him. He just brings nothing on offense, and it is horrible to watch him out there miss wide open shot after wide open shot. You mention the Bahamas and talk about how he has improved his outside shot (it could not get much worse), but did not mention how awful he was shooting last season when it mattered...so not sure why the Bahamas are even relevant when we saw nothing from him last season. I do love his defense, but I'm not sure it is enough to justify taking minutes from Murray, Ulis, Matthews and Mulder. I'd just play those guys more, but I trust in Cal.
