Sure the top is there.
I expected Tennesse, Auburn, Alabama, and us to be respectable.
But tis the season when Florida would lose a squeeker to Central Florida and Georgia lose big to Weber State.
Our soft middle do SEC things.
And yet, there are still NINE undefeated teams in the conference.
Very early, but that's way more than other conferences.
Miss State beat Utah and SMU
Georgia beat Georgia Tech
Would be nice to play some Top 25 teams in February during the middle of the week.

Yes, the SEC is good. And even if they are fringe T25 teams, in conference play is always tough. Now, we actually will have an advantage in that Pope hasn't been in the conference 15 years, so teams and coaches won't know his idiosyncrasies as well. However, that's a double-edged sword because, the same is true of the other coaches. Pope won't know them as well. Conference will be a blood bath. And I could see us lose anywhere from 2-5 games. We could struggle or we could be really good in conference. Hard to say right now.

Well Baylor beat #22STJ but got blown out by dd by TN tonight. There's gonna be ups and downs early but the SEC is the strongest conference in the country.

I mean top teams like Dook, Baylor, UNC, Ark and Creighton among many others have lost within their first 3 games. ARZ is 2-2 and mighty Creighton lost by dd to NEB tonight.

The SEC will be just fine.

Texas A&M should be a Tournament team. Yes, they lost to Central Florida. Buzz is known to get them rolling by the end of the season. Beat Ohio State. Have some tests coming up vs Oregon, Creighton, Wake Forest, Texas Tech & Purdue.

It's not been as good as it has been hyped the last several years. People were just saying that the SEC was so much better now so they wouldn't feel as bad about how awful UK was.
