Z kinda broke my heart when he left. I think he would have thrived in Pope’s offense distributing and the pick and pop. After everything cats fans did to pressure the NCAA to clearing him, regardless if it had an effect.

I agree. Z would have been a lottery pick under Pope. This offense is perfect for him. Pope would have let him launch about 5 threes per game and Z's passing from the top of the key would have been elite.
Disappointed that z followed ccc after the way he was misused last year. Why ask for more of the same? He could have had the freedom to shoot as often as he was open

He would’ve played a role exactly like porzingis plays for the Celtics offense. He just would’ve taken this offense to the next level.
CBP had no clue how to coach or utilize Big Z last season. Yanked him from games when Z shot threes, and repeatedly made Z start out (and stay) in the paint like an old-school 5. Something close to criminal last season.
To his credit, even can’t-coach CBP has finally figured out that Big Z is a prototypical Euro big who starts out outside. Duh, he’s a seven-foot Croatian 🤷🏻♂️
For twins they don't look very similar. Ears, eyebrows, chin, cheeks.
I was a big fan of Z and hated that he left, especially since this offense would have been great for him. However, with Z or any of the others, who would you give up on our current team to keep them? I wouldn't want to give up Amari or Brandon. I like Thiero but prefer Carr. So I'm happy with our current team

It looks as if it was a push as to who did better. While Tomaslov had more points and rebounds, he also had more minutes. The shooting % for both was almost the same. Would be good to have both of them on one team, I think. Imagine swapping them out sharing minutes and keeping the same ability on the floor for 40 minutes.
Z was fools gold, He makes a three and you all go "ahhhhhhhh. wooooooooo, ooooooooo". and then he plays soft as a girl and gets no rebounds and can't block a shot and is a big defensive liability at his position. I will take a big who plays like a big any day, any one of our three bigs over him.
