Just sharing for your reading pleasure. The others are more measured in their predictions, but the OP offers up some good stuff here. This should be a good thread to watch for a while, if it stays up.

"Finally we have the size to cause the same type of havoc that cause when we normally play them. Their length bothered us, but I think our length will bother them this year. Watching UK play yesterday and today got me really excited to play them in Rupp this year."

"They will definitely struggle this year. Im not saying they can't get better but they will indeed struggle. Lack that tenacity and bulk. For them to be ranked number 2 and us not to be ranked is a joke."

Uavelol fans never cease to amuse me

Every. Single. Year.

They have the talent to beat us. We're overrated. They're underrated.

**fast forward to the day after the game

"Well of course we can't beat them. They have the best team money can buy. A monkey could coach that team to a win."

Every damn year.

Skal will hang 20 plus on them. I'm calling it. Louisville just isn't going to be very good this year. Our team is very talented and we will tighten up our d. Davis certainly was never out muscled by the cardinals and neither will skal. And sure as hell not poy

Take away all bias. Pretend you aren't a UK fan. Or think if Skal had been playing for Arizona State or something..... Watching him play, I'd think "Holy Sh*t..... I hope he doesn't play against us"

You just can't stop his shots. You either have to foul Skal and hope to get away with it or pray he just has a bad shooting game.

Thats just one player ...... add in Murray who you also have to pray has a horrible shooting night like last night. Then add in Ulis, Briscoe and a much improved Willis....Poythress and Lee.

Card fans must be high on heroin or whatever drugs they can get their hands on in the ville if they think they're gonna win.

Yeah, I'm catching heat on the national board for saying Albany and NJIT could beat them this year. I firmly believe that too. If you struggle against Wesleyan in an exhibition at home, you may get routed by a decent mid major. They're going to suck this year.

I like how UK doesn't have anything inside. Just Skal, Lee, Humphries, Poythress, Willis and Matthews. Sure, it isn't the greatest Cal has had, but it's a far above average compared to the norm in high level D-1 basketball.

We will see how their "bigs" do moving forward. If anything, they should worry about the whole freedom of movement stuff. That's going to kill UL if they don't develop some depth.

The one loss that bothers me more than any, since Cal has been here, is the only one LilBrothel has won*. Turns out they had a team they cheated to put together, and they played rugby AT HOME, for a three point W*. They did not deserve the win then and ultimately won't find it in the record book; rightfully so.

That board is great. Do yourself a favor and see how low they get by treating yourself to the 6 page vj king thread. Basically a UK fan tweeted this star studded recruit they signed. The guy owns his own business so they went to his fb page and gave him a bunch of negative reviews. If you need a laugh check out that thread.

I have to be honest, and this is coming from a guy who has absolutely no problem eviscerating Louisville fans any chance I get ... but if a grown man sends a tweet to a recruit for any reason outside of sending a congratulatory note after a commitment (and even that I think is weird), then he deserves the backlash. That's a weird thing to do, and I question the judgement of anyone running their own business to do something stupid and childish like that.

It's the same thing every year folks. The Cards are always delusional until reality sets in after the Cats beat them. The saddest thing for UofL fans this season is that they apparently are unaware of the fact that their team is rebuilding. Meanwhile, UK is reloading. The other thing they always miss is that the mistakes they saw from the Cats in game one will be long gone by the end of December, and UK's upside in the short term in well above the Cards' upside.

Any intelligent person can look right now at UK ask a simple question: which players have the most unrealized potential and are projected to be NBA talents? Answer: Murray and Labissiere. How many college games have they've played? 2. What will happen when they become more comfortable? They will excel at this level. Now, what have those 2 done so far? Murray dominated UK's first game and Skal dominated their second. If they're able to dominate that soon, what happens when they settle in?

And the other thing these Card fans can't do is critically evaluate their own players. I'm sure we all have that trouble at times. But the fact is that Louisville doesn't have a pro on the team, period. Not right now anyway. They might have a couple potential prospects but not a single player that will be drafted next June. Those are just the facts. Card fans can't see it. Their top 2 players are grad transfers. Their interior, which they are saying will dominate UK, has little offensive skill and lack great rebounding ability, despite their confident assertions.

The other thing that poses a huge problem for Louisville is the freedom of movement rule change. Fact is, if the Cards can't grab, hold, push, and slap, they just lost their only chance of beating a good team.

Beating UK in Rupp is highly unlikely. In fact, if this scandal continues to escalate, things could get even worse.

They say the same crap every year, when we win they will say that the refs called a unfair game, corrupt arena, blah, blah. Then they will say everyone we beat is overrated and if UL plays them again they would win and if UK was in the ACC they wouldn't even make the tourney. Same crap every year. Delusional idiots.

House of whores may be a all time favorite phrase of mine on this board

if the refs are enforcing the freedom of movement rule like they're supposed to, then the birdboard after that game is going to be drowning in a river of tears over the officiating. hack-n-whack teams like duhvill is why the new rule was conceived. i can't wait to see the play by play video breakdown of bad calls from that game.
