"Number one...there are cameras. If you are lying then you're done!"

Calipari told that to the bald headed red when he told Cal Murray did something to earn the technical. Don't know if he said Murray touched him or what but Cal said that to him as plain as day lol.

I watched that interaction a couple of times. The ref told Cal that Murray said something that deserved a tech. Cal called Murry over to ask him in front of Mr Clean. You can see Murray saying that he didnt say what the ref had accused him of. Thats when Cal told him he was checking the tape.

That was one of the most chicken chit techs I've ever seen. And I used to be a hs ref.

In a competently run organization, there would be consequences for that and he would be reprimanded in the same way that players and coaches are. But since this is the NCAA we're talking about, his performance tonight probably locked him up an assignment for the UK/Duke game.

Don't mess with Cal or his players if you know what's good for you.

Here's the deal, when an official steps in to break up the "coffee break" and players continue to discuss the previous play, technicals are a way to get employees back to work.

Murray, Ulis and Poythress should now understand that....

That's awesome if that is truly what Cal said to that jerk off! Its a weak technical, rewatched it multiple times and couldn't find anything close to warranting a technical

I'm sure Cal will watch the tape. Cal said if he was wrong (Cal) he would make an apology. Did not see any thing that Murray did that called for a "T".

This was a completely different event then the Poythress scuffle. Murray wasn't running his mouth at all. He was laughing and even gave the ref an "it's all good" tap before the technical.

Cal said in post conference that the ref said Murray cussed and he saw him/heard him. The entire team and Murray said he didn't say anything like that, so Cal told the ref what he did. Cal has his kids backs like no other.

I'm not much of a lip reader so I didn't get it, but it was clear Cal was in the "ref's" face, and had Murray's back all the way. I didn't have much of a quibble about the quad tech, but that one seemed like pure fiction.

Oh, there'll be consequences. The consequences will be that he will be assigned to call every Kentucky game on the schedule.

I really didn't care for the way that the ref was putting his hands on Murray. If it was the other way around, people would be screaming that a player assaulted a ref.
Yep. You put your hands on another adult in a controlling way, you'd better have a damn good reason - don't care who you are.
