Yeah, I said it. He can do absolutely everything. This is not a slight to the likes of John Wall, Brandon Knight, Tyler Ulis, Andrew Harrison etc.. He is lightning quick, his handle is ridiculous, he is a top notch passer, explosive athlete, elite defender, and he can really, really shoot the basketball. He is a combination of John Wall and Brandon Knight. Will be a huge pick up if we land him, and we are the prohibitive favorite right now. Plus, I am a lefty so I am somewhat bias. He could be the top pick in the draft under the guidance of Coach Cal, especially with the Giles injury.

Awesome new mixtape, thanks for posting. I've seen a few older mixtapes of Fox, but the one you posted is by far the best in my opinion. The kid is a bit more freaky athletic than I originally thought. If UK can get him and Monk... that would a crazy explosive one two punch.

I agree 100%. No offense to Fox who is an absolute stud in his own right, but Jamal Murray is the most complete point guard Cal has had at UK. He may not play much point guard for us this year because of Ulis. But he can do everything on a very high level.

Murray doesn't have the athletic or defensive upside of Fox - In SF terms, It's like comparing a Paul Pierce versus a (certainly less dominant version of) Lebron. Both types of players can be superstars, but the latter can be much more complete than the former if he isn't already.

The Murray argument is valid. Fox isn't in the same area code as Murray when it comes to long distance shooting. Both are exceptional passers so that's a wash. Fox has better athletic ability which normally manifests itself on driving ability but watching murray at the hoop summit and pan american games he is a great driver even with average athletic ability so driving is also going to be close to even. Fox appears to be a superior defender. So it's close between the two. Murray is clearly going to have an edge with shooting and Fox projects to be a better defender.

It's my personal belief that Murray is the best player on the team. Ullis is the most important especially considering the intangibles he brings to the table and Skal has the most potential and projects to be the best on down the road in the NBA. But for strictly this season my money is on Murray to be our leading scorer and overall best player.

Some forget what an unbelievable, generational talent Wall is....blazing speed, freakish athleticism... John Wall is the best guard that has put on a UK uniform...nobody has knocked him off that pedestal yet, in my opinion.
