If Oscar was eligible to be drafted tonight

Even if his offense and shooting doesn't improve, surely someone could use a guy who can get 20 rebounds.
Exactly. Smart players and coaches (like Curry and Kerr) would love a guy like Oscar you can get them extra possessions and extra 3pt shots. It’s ok to be a specialist.

What? Oscar is a better version of Looney at the same age whos the starting center for the new NBA champions...
Sorry but, no, Oscar is well behind Looney on the “age development” scale.

Looney was a one and done first round pick only 19 years old as an NBA rookie. Barely anybody had even heard of Oscar at that age. And Looney was starting games for the defending world champions at a younger age than Oscar (who turns 23 this year) is while still in college.

I’d also point out that Looney’s status as the warriors “starting” center is largely just for show. He does not play starter minutes, and the W’s have always played best when they go small without a real center (6’6” Draymond Green is the guy who really spends the most time at their five spot). Which is why Kerr yanked Looney out the starting lineup in the Finals.

Insults usually mean I’m right and you can’t handle it….
Lol how many people have to tell you you're wrong before you realize that you're way off here. There games are nothing alike, you're dead wrong and everyone in here who knows basketball is laughing at you. Stop embarrassing yourself.

And it's been explained to you already in this thread, you've been proven wrong. You just choose to keep doubling down. You're wrong and look foolish.

Except I’m not…. re-quote anyone who proved me wrong??? I’m waiting….

I did.. Bam is an athletic freak. Oscar is a plow that can't jump very fast off the floor

I didn't say anything about vertical jumping height

Oscar is the only big man I've ever seen that got a rebound n shot the ball back up under the basket without jumping.
One guy gathers himself before jumping , the other jumps like a pogo stick. One guy handles the ball in pick n roll like a guard , the other can't dribble with someone guarding him.
Oscar is a work horse and I love him but dude you are way off on that comparison

Bam adebayo is a facilitating shot blocking lob threat. Oscar is a 1950s big man who struggles to score over someone taller than him.

Except I’m not…. re-quote anyone who proved me wrong??? I’m waiting….
Here are a few examples of them proving you wrong. Now go away, if you really think Bam and Oscar have similar games, your an idiot. If you don't understand the few simple examples above, then you're just lying to yourself.

It’s actually the closest comparison there is for either player. Exact same size, exact same vertical. Both don’t shoot 3s and primarily play back to the basket. No one said Oscar was a clone of Bam but it doesn’t get much more similar.
You truly don’t have a clue about basketball.

Literally every single person has told this guy Bam and Oscar are in no way similar basketball players, and he just keeps saying but PROVE ME WRONG. Lol! Take the L bro.

I tell you one thing, the fact that they took Jalen Brunson in the 2nd round made the NBA look like a bunch of idiots as it is. 2nd round... what a disgrace! Frank Mason went at the right spot though, and it’s a couple years too early to tell about Garza

Bam and Oscar are absolutely nothing alike lol.

Same size, same vertical was my original point because you geniuses say Oscar size and lack of athletic ability is what limits him. With all your reactions to my posts, seems I’ve gained a new fan! 😉

Brunson looked like a 2nd rounder.

No, however, if he follows up this season with the one he just had, he will go in the 1st round…I know he has his deficiencies, especially on the offensive end, but the guy is versatile. I know without a doubt, 1st round pick or not, he will carve himself a nice role in the league. I look at a guy like Grant Williams playing big minutes for the Celtics, and can’t see how Oscar can’t have a similar role. He 10x the player of Williams

Dude has died on this hill and reanimated into a zombie and been killed again. And he's still getting back up again.

I question whether this is really accurate. Oscar may be listed at 6’9” at UK, but I’d bet his listing will get downsized at the next level (as happens to many Cal players when they enter the pros). At least to my subjective eyes, he sure doesn’t look like he has the same length as Bam.

And regardless of what vertical listing you may have found, Oscar is plainly not as prolific or quick of a leaper as Bam. Oscar is incredibly good at chasing down those below the rim rebounds, but he does not play above the rim ..as either a shotblocker or finisher/dunker …in the same way Bam does.
