I continue to be impressed with…..

13.6 minutes

Shooting
55/43/89

7 points and 2 rebounds

You'll take that out of your 2nd/3rd guy off the bench all day long.

Only turned it over 1 time in 95 minutes. PER 22.2 which backed by the stats shows that he's an efficient player.

I love the guy's game. Also, when those guys tried to bully him around yesterday they had no chance. 6ft7 nearly 250 pounds. Good luck.

I get excited every time he gets up off the bench because you know some good things are going to happen. He adds so much energy and toughness to this team. Never takes a minute off, one of the hardest working players I've seen at UK in awhile. Love his game and enthusiasm.

…..Almanor’s agility.

That fast break long catch and lay in last night was really smooth.

Love his confidence from three, but his grace around the bucket has really surprised me.

Keep it up, big fella.
Yeah you gotta love Almonor. He can do a little bit of everything, and he does it all pretty well. He can make the 3 at a good percentage. He can defend guys much bigger than he is because of his strength and intelligence. He runs the floor well. He finishes well. He will mix it up rebounding the ball and is strong enough to come out with the ball. And that's your 2nd string power forward.

We saw him shift over to the 4 late in that Georgia St game while Carr moved over the center. We've got a very versatile team and he's one of those key pieces.

Yeah, the lineup with
PG - Butler
SG - Oweh or Brea
SF - Jackson or Brea
PF - Almonor
C - Carr

Is really tough to defend... shooters everywhere which allows for good driving lanes and/or backcuts. Not a great lineup to defend at the rim, but they can definitely put pressure on the opposing defense.

Who does Almonor remind you of with how he shoots, his build, his movements? Can't put my finger on it. Glen Rice? Karl Towns? Erik Daniels?

Agree with every thing said here. He's a smart, solid player and a great fit for this team coming off the bench, which he is happy to be doing. He's living the dream and we get to watch!

And on top of all this, the kid feels blessed to be here...very humble and plays for the name on the front of the jersey like a homegrown ky boy

I expect him to hit 2 threes every game. Teams continue to leave him open in the corner. Surely that gets scouted soon.

Poor man’s Bryce Hopkins. Maybe a touch of Eric Manuel.
