Pitino and Jurich will always be what they are. Not worthy of being left in charge of children and young adults.

However, the Administration, by way of turning their backs on the activaties of these two, validated their leading children and young adults into the undisciplined life style that they themselves embrace with such enthusiasm. Moreover they gave implied approval, for the ignorance of a large portion of their fans who gave excuses for the two, by their overdue lack of action.

The UL University Administration has and still seems determined to fail the community by retaining Pitino and Jurich. What other major University would tolerate children and prostitution. Penn State, maybe?

A classic example of the fish rotting from the head down. It starts with Ramsey, his board and Foundation enablers, then goes to Jurich, Pitino, Petrino, McGee, secretaries, administrators, Jurich's son, etc . It's like a large retailer where a few buyers start taking kickbacks from suppliers. Suddenly everyone is on the take, no one cares about the customers and the chain goes belly up (see K-Mart). UofL is a bankrupt University who should call In Hercules to clean the stables.

Although some would like to over simplify the situation to basketball games and tournaments it really is a deterioration of the mission of a university undermined by the efforts of a few character damaged individuals.

If you have a coach that has been amoral and the admisinstration backs him, why would anyone think others will be ethically as well. Culture starts at the top and they got burned. Plain and simple and we didn't even know at the time of the Pitino sex scandal how amoral and corrupt Jurich and Ramsey were at the time.
