Cal will not let them pour it on because it is Payne on the other side. I look for Cal to experiment in this game with different rotations with the big guys who just returned
If Payne is coaching, I believe Cal will try to avoid being the last nail in the coffin for him. At this point I can't imagine Payne coaching this game though
Has he called Kenny and asked him not to play zone yet?
Could not believe what I was watching last night in UL's game. Could not believe how bad the announcers was ripping the UL players. Could not believe how calm Payne was just standing there like he wished he wasn't there. Could not believe the few fans there just congregating and no noise for the game. Could not believe the attitude of the players and how uncoached they looked.
Who cares. We play our big rival, UNCheat next. Not thinking about the in-state metro commuter college yet.

I can't imagine that UofL could ever beat us. However, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Cal wants to throw rocks, and and we look horrible, and they play with us for far longer than they ever should. Man, I hope not.

I remember not too long ago some posters on here wanted him to replace Cal, in fact quite a few did. I never understood that because he had never been a head coach and it's a whole lot different than being an assistant. I didn't think he had the demeanor to be a head coach, I think he is a good person and a good assistant, but I didn't see him as a head coach. He was kind of put in a no win situation, being a beloved former Cardinal following Pitino and Crum after Macks disappointing tenure as coach. Now it really is rock bottom, sad to see a guy like him be the subject to all of the fans that have turned on him. You can't go to a program that has been a traditional power and lose no matter who you are, that's just the way it is now.

Depends if UK is on or not. If on even Calipari can't stop a 20 to 25 point win.
If off we can see a rock fight and UK pulls away to win by 8 to 12.

I agree with most in this thread, Cal will pull the reins back once UK inevitably gets a sizable lead. Also may utilize the second half to experiment with some other lineups.
Also, the result of the UNC game may play a factor as well. If UK is coming off a loss, Cal may allow the score to be ran up a bit. If UK beats UNC, I look for the scenario I laid out in first paragraph to occur.

CCC will put it in grind mode so he doesn’t run up the score, instead of getting a huge lead and giving guys like Hart and Burks playing time. Just watch.

They really do. They should have lost a couple more games although they probably should have beat Texas, which makes 0 sense.
Sorry...it's Louisville and as always, I hope the Cats destroy them! No margin of victory is enough.
However, after watching the last couple of games, I'm not confident that the Cats can do that. Cal is still a terrible coach and has shown he can get beat by bad teams.

After unc Wilmington I would be cautious predicting any wins at Rupp home court advantage not that strong anymore uner cal
