I remember not too long ago some posters on here wanted him to replace Cal, in fact quite a few did. I never understood that because he had never been a head coach and it's a whole lot different than being an assistant. I didn't think he had the demeanor to be a head coach, I think he is a good person and a good assistant, but I didn't see him as a head coach. He was kind of put in a no win situation, being a beloved former Cardinal following Pitino and Crum after Macks disappointing tenure as coach. Now it really is rock bottom, sad to see a guy like him be the subject to all of the fans that have turned on him. You can't go to a program that has been a traditional power and lose no matter who you are, that's just the way it is now.
