How about Ravi Moss?

Needs some work but clearly knows the game. I'd love to see him announce more games. If announcing doesn't work out he'd make a good coach.

My favorite walk on of all time. Really loved playing for the Cats and it showed every time he hit the floor.

I thought he did excellent. Matt Jones was pretty solid, but really seemed to like to hear his own voice. Just a bit too talkative at times.

Will be interesting to see how Ravi does in a game that is neutral, or a close game that he cannot just be a homer in.

Thought Baker and Jones were saying Robbie, instead of Ravi. Kept wondering what network affiliate he worked for. Very professional. Could have a career in broadcasting.

Near the end when Jones was talking about Floreal and David being talented for walk-ons, I loved it when Ravi said, "Some of those walk-ons turn out pretty good, man" or something along those lines

Between he and MJ, a great mix of homerism and fandom, but many of the same observations and complaints you would see from the fan base as well.

Gotta hand it to a guy that dates this.

Indeed, and this young lady publically lusted after the guy on national TV when she was still in her prime.

Without a doubt!!!
I thought he did great. He said "without a doubt" just about every other time he spoke.
I pick up on silly stuff like that. He said it A LOT...
He did great though. I enjoyed all three.

What is it?! He's a nice enough guy, but I don't see getting that kind of menu just by having some minor local celebrity. Am I missing something?

Some guys just have the Midas touch. Ravi is one of them. May his tribe prosper.

He was solid but he has to learn not to talk under his breath. You could hear him mumbling things that I would say while watching.

I actually enjoyed that. Though, I agree, it's not a habit that'd work for the long-term.

I like how he referred to the team as "we". We will do this or we will do that. He didn't talk about the Cats as if he was a regular announcer calling game.

Yeah, Ravi Moss had a bit of a teammate announcer in him at times like he was on the bench watching the guys...but I didn't mind it for the "homer broadcast" that tonight's game was.

I wish Ravi had spoken up a bit louder, although I fully understand that everyone is hard to hear next to Matt Jones.

Ha I did too and kept trying to figure out who Robby Moss was. I really enjoyed listening to the trio. Matt made it fun and for the most part stayed on point when needed to. Much more entertaining than listening to an ESPN B squad.
