Hmm. Aaron Bradshaw

These type of comments are laughable. Do you not remember that Coach Cal's previous two schools before UK had vacated Final Four appearances under him? And Coach Cal wouldn't even have even needed to know about this point shaving for UK to get the death penalty. IF Bradshaw did point shave while he was at UK you can bet your ass UK is going to get the death penalty. At least a 3 year post season bans, reduced scholarships, and vacate all of our wins last year. This is not good. Hopefully it isn't point shaving because if it is UK is going to get screwed over whether they knew about it or not.

Laughable? You realize we've self reported on several things correct? Considering UK has major sanctions in the past, do you think we're not one of the most watched programs in the country? Hell, the NCAA got grumpy when we gave Cal a basketball for a number of wins and we had to retract it because it wasn't accurate due to one of his vacated games. It could be possible, but it would have been extremely hush. UK has the biggest spotlight in the sport. I can't imagine it was happening and someone didn't know.

You sound a bit too eager about it as well.

Yes I know that UK has been good at self reporting. I'm not saying that UK knew about it. I'm saying it won't matter if UK knew about it or not. If Bradshaw point shaved while at UK UK gets punished BADLY REGARDLESS if UK knew about it or not. Which honestly I don't think they knew about it.

This reminds me of the Andy Griffith episode when Barney scratched his trigger finger. By the time Aunt Bea and her buddies relayed the news several times, the rumor was that Barney had accidentally shot and killed himself

Good lord, this started out as an OSU mystery, and has grown into UK getting the death penalty

And I suggest if we didn't know to sue the hell out of the NCAA and tell them to pound sand. Works for everyone else. Tie that crap up for years.

with the OSU team at the moment. Isn't being reported in a way to make it sound like it's a temporary situation. Anybody heard anything, or have any insight?

Bradshaw shaved points in the Oakland game. Kentucky was a 26 point favorite and lost by 4.

Bradshaw managed to shave 30 points in four minutes of playing time. Gamblers who took Oakland to win outright made a fortune. It was a legendary performance. He may never make the basketball hall of fame but he’s already in the gamblers hall of fame.

Love it. I have one of the old winchester Model A 12 gauge 36 inch barrels single shot. Walnut stock. That gun puts bruises on you. Love that gun.
I have a single shot Garcia 12 Guage 36 inch barrell. I have never lost a turkey shoot with it. It too will put a bruise on you.

Thats funny!

A player would have to admit the act before PS allegations could be proven right?

And I don't think the Death Penalty will ever be used again personally

Its actually the "repeat offenders clause" - so your program would have to have piled up several infractions & sanctions THEN get busted again during that period (ref: SMU football in the 80s -- clause was created because of them)

Just some thoughts - happy Saturday!

Someone mentioned Eleven Warriors website earlier so I hoped over there to have a look see. They seem to think he has a warrant from Franklin County for a speeding ticket. Since he was a no show at court they issued a bench warrant and he has been extradited back to Kentucky. So in essence they have no clue either.

The speculations are in the comments section at the bottom.

Someone on twitter said they have a cousin on the team and said it was a fatal car accident, and he had been drinking. FWIW.
So we have gambling, woman beater, and now traffic accident resulting in death. That’s a gambit. He did have a 107mph ticket he didn’t show up to court for so maybe him and cars shouldn’t mix.

Really, your eagle eye hindsight gonna take you there. I watched UK as much as anyone last year and he seemed a good kid, he was injured early but he was showing up at those charity games and kid games with big positive smile and vibe.
When he got benched he was up clapping and cheering for his replacement. He seems like a good kid, he just wasn't as good of a basketball player as he was touted to be. But he never seemed like he had an ego and he was just happy to see his teammates do well, especially big Z(I really wish he would've stayed because he would've THRIVED in Pope's offense)

If it somehow comes back to Kentucky then they should deny, deny, and deny like Duke and UNC always do and just go on about our business.

I shot a single shot ivery Johnson 10 guage back in the 80s when was a kid,, literally put me on my ass and set me up for future shoulder surgery,, lol.. The gun would blow apart after every shot,, made me think I was kilt for a second..

UK and any school that gets hit with anything NCAA related may finally be the tipping point for the end of the NCAA.

The middle finger should be used for all allegations fact or fiction moving forward

Could Kentucky get in trouble for this? I can’t see calipari knowing anything about this. This seems like something a player and his camp do on their own and don’t tell anybody.
-1996 UMass/Camby… Cal "didn't know", then left town
-2008 Memphis/Rose…Cal "didn't know" then left town

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it's Calipari

If it’s point shaving while at UK, we will forfeit wins and KU will pass us on the all-time wins list again.

I sure hope this isn’t a Cal parting gift. It seems like something that would happen to UK.

The point shaving talk doesn't make any sense at all.

No bookie with half a brain is going to set up a point shaving scheme with a backup center who averages 13 minutes a game and barely touches the ball. 🤣 He doesn't control games and can't affect outcomes.

If it is gambling-related, it's just dumb bets. Maybe he bet on a few UK games at worst. But unless there is coach/admin involvement then it means nothing for UK.

GD the Internet loves conspiracies anymore. So many people are so quick to jump onto point shaving. If it was point shaving, it would involve at 3 or more guys, and definitely starters/guards. You could make a good argument D.J. Wagner was shaving points but in reality he just sucks.

I don't know where that misinformation is coming from, but his ticket was in Franklin County, Ohio, where Columbus is located. That won't get him extradited to Kentucky.

If you look up his case, it also says that it's closed.
