He has not, but this team gets out so apparently they listen in practice. It’s been nice, Cal has been relatively calm all year. He even sits down for periods of the game now.
I think Cal has mentioned a few times that he already trusts this team much more than he has any from the previous few years. He's visibly less frustrated on the sidelines. All the screaming and yelling from the last few years was legitimately because the team just wouldn't listen to him. I think there's a quote from Oscar from last year that basically said "yeah we don't really listen to what Cal tells us during the game."
He did last night when they were standing around killing clock. It's like he has to yell for them to go and start the actual play for them to start the actual play.
On Kenpom our adj. tempo is now at #22, compared to #253 last year. So yes, they're already gone before he can yell!
Yeah, these guys go, go, go and need no reminding to do so. I love this team. They're fun to watch. I like seeing Cal a bit calmer on the sideline too. 😀
And the cool thing is it was in the 60s before Bradshaw started playing. So we've sped up the offense quite a bit since we've gotten him back. They're really leaning into the strengths of the team and letting them run and shoot.
