-Pretty much. We didn't even know who Wilkerson was 10 days ago. Lol. Dude chose more a more prominent role and **ALLEDGEDLY** more money. Can't really blame him when we're looking at 10-11 guys right now fighting for minutes. Would have loved to add him but on to the next one.

-I don't think BBN and especially BBN media has grasped the protal yet. They were a f*cking mess yesterday afternoon. Hand wringing, excuses, ridiculous conspiracies. This isn't HS recruiting. It moves quickly. We're gonna miss on more than we get. It's very obvious none of the local guys are getting quality info from UK. It's also obvious that agents are using UK to drive up prices. Most of our commitments have come outta left field.

-I like the idea of that 4* WVU decommit. Or any other guy that's in the portal. We still have plenty of time to find a guy OK with possibly coming off the bench.

-Speaking of uniform talk, that blue popped with the Reds threads last night. Navy was a prominent secondary color in the old school jerseys and would love to see that come back. They discussed it a few times, but it would be much better than black. The 70-80s are easily my favorite in recent history. I don't care for the current red uniforms with script REDS across the chest. I don't care for the font on the grays with CINNCINNATI, the shadow isn't necessary. The whites with the logo are probably the best overall look but I like the pinstripe whites better. They should bring those back. Never a fan of the sleeveless look, keep those in the history books.

-Phillies and Brewers have some fantastic throw back. Both better than current.

-Grass in Central KY is that shade of green that gives you the feels. Real spring is right around the corner. Trees coming back to life. Love it.

-Targeted: Beirut by Jack Carr is a very good read.

- Experiencing baseball on over-the-air television and AM radio is a generational divide that those under us will have never known. And it is such an integral fabric of how we understand sports, as has been well explained here today.
Listening to a late night Reds broadcast from LA or SF was a big part of my childhood. Usually alseep by the 4th inning though.

I think the "Full Effect" for T-Will was more than a couple of fingers. Indiana basketball has asked if the German Shepherd is in the portal yet.

Dumpster fire alert!

In the past 3 weeks, Fayette County schools has experienced:
- an educator with child porn (2nd one this year I believe)
- dean of students charged with wanton endangerment
- teacher who looks to be an alcoholic (0.278 breath test this morning I think qualifies) hitting a pedestrian on way to work this morning, possibly killing them, then leaving scene to go on to work.

And today this:

~ Hate it when I buy the wrong dip. Seems like even more of my favorite stocks are on a deeper discount now, but the volatility has me wary to go overboard.

~ Is there something to be said for low expectations on the football team? It feels like we've been confident we have a top 25 teams nearly every year for the last decade and that has seldom panned out. Maybe Stoops needs the chip on his shoulder. Maybe he just needs to leave.

~ I've had to rear naked choke a dog off of another dog before. Went out surprisingly fast, no tap.

~ Purchased my second hand gun recently. P365 X-Macro Comp for EDC to go along with my "fun" shooting CZ P-01. My concealed carry class is next week. Pretty, pretty stoked. Loving my Vaultek safe (thanks for the rec Hank and others!).

~ NHL postseason soon. Always cracks me up to remember that the NBA and NHL have like an 8 week playoff to determine the champ. Still contend the NHL is the best live sporting event and requires the most "talent" of any of the major sports.

~ 80 and partly cloudy here tomorrow gang, drink it in.

Maybe you should pin a thread with all your postings about your disdain for Fayette County Schools. Honestly can’t say I’ve seen you post about anything else.

We get it. You think they’re a woke disaster. Can you move on please?
No thanks and yes you are correct a lot of my posts are about Fayette county schools. Maybe they should not give me so much material and do better.

It’s about impossible to acquire and holster a sidearm in NJ. 2nd Amendment rights are quashed. Can’t even get an airsoft or BB gun to kill a terrorist robin bird.

Meanwhile NC is close to removing the permit for concealed carry which I find incredibly dumb.

There is a lot of responsibility that comes with carrying a firearm and the training/understanding provided in those courses is immeasurable.

That's the issue now, there are no gray zones. It's either all the way in or all the way out.

Have fun at the class! Where are you located? If you're in the Lexington area and ever want to shoot at the pistol pits at the Bluegrass Sportsman's League in Wilmore, let me know. That's the best place to shoot pistols in the area that I know of. I'm a member and can get you a pass, etc.

Those comped 365 Macros shoot great but if it were me I'd shoot with it a while before carrying, imo. I've got one of the original 365s and on paper it is perfect (other than needs a RDS cut). In practice, it is unreliable and nothing I would count on. The next time the thing goes to slide lock on an empty mag will be the first time in years.

I've gone back to Glock and mainly avoid the micro 9mms, too. I carry a Glock 45 with an SRO.

I'm north of Charlotte in NC. I've been shooting my brother in laws P365 and Shield Plus for years, the comp is definitely different but not radically so IMO.

Glock grips don't sit well in my hands but I can appreciate the reliability and shootability.

Want to save up for a nice DS 1911/2011 next. Thinking a Platypus, Staccato or Apollo 11.

Corso retiring. Good. Sad to see at the end.

Hockey reels on FB are just great viewing.

If Football predictions/worries are accurate means my October frees up. Win.

For as long as I can remember CFBGD has been appointment viewing there is something just about it that is uniquely awesome. Sad to see Corso go but it was past due. An icon for a sports simpleton like me who just enjoyed the distraction and hype it delivers on fall Saturdays.

Was at both Kentucky appearances with that beautiful Saturday in front of William T being one of the we made it moments prior to being out gunned. Stood up front and flew my classic UK Couch jersey (all blue, white numerals only Nike check) in Athens before covering the spread. Mcafee is what he is I am fine in smaller doses but realize he is likely the corso big personality heir.

Hope we can get at least 2 more in the next 30 years.
