GYERO

It sounds like ya'll just had a fun Friday night to me, no apologies needed.

That legends video is pretty damn cool. I'm enjoying this renaissance of looking inward for the program. Wresting the UK basketball we know and love from our former coach is made all the easier with these big game wins.

Long live Pope.

*Hey, I'm working yet another weekend, so I need MORE GYERO fights. Makes for good reading while I'm watching CBB in my conference room.

*Temporarily satisfied the work force with Indys for lunch. 3 piece meal should shut them up for a few hours.

*I'm always nervous about the UK/UL game, but I FEEL UK should take this thing by 20+. With a 5 PM tip, that gives the Hyatt bar plenty of time to get the fans oiled up. I'm betting Rupp will be at its finest today

*Anyone else have older kids and now you really couldn't care less for the Xmas season? Call me scrooge because, F Christmas. Not the meaning behind it, but all the other bullshit that comes with it (on day 15 so take my anger with a gain of salt).

*Have a friend that only needs the White label to complete the Weller rainbow. Amazing how difficult it is to find certain bottles. I don't think it was that way 10 years ago.

*I asked our customer if it would be ok to take tomorrow off since we've been working since Black Friday. They basically told me to DIAF and get to work. Cool. I hope half the staff calls in tomorrow.

*The drones are US military, right? If not, and the pentagon has no idea where they are coming from, we are truly screwed.

*Reverse seared a ribeye cap last night. Oven at 400 (breaks down the fat at this temp) for 20 minutes, then seared on the stove top for 1 minute each side. Glass of Austin Hope to wash it down. Best solo dinner I've had in a while.

*Had a minor HR issue last week. A coworker named Tony had his big toe removed due to infection. I started calling him, "knee." When asked why I called him "knee" I said because he lost his To. Tony loved it, HR...not so much.

*Family companies > large corporations. Actively looking to return to a "smaller" operation that's HQ'd in the USA.

*Flats > drums. I will not entertain opposing POV's.

The legends letters got me more than a little misty. I do remember the shirt I was wearing, sweating bullets, sitting with my dad and little brother watching Patrick Sparks take those FTs. What a set of brass ones Sparks had, phew.

I’ve been showing the baby Ls down all week. Hoping he hates the Cards like he hates Duke.
I, on the other hand, did not have brass ones. I went out back to the porch and had my wife tell me what happened.

Auburn is going to be an absolute bear to beat this year. This is by far Pearls best team and who I think will win the SEC.

- Doesn't matter what the rankings are, the records are, or the rosters are....I'm always nervous about the UL game. *Feels* like a Kentucky win, because Duke played poorly the other night and still won at Yum handily, but still....I'll be anxious about it until the horn. Hate this game.

- I'll say Cats by 12 in a game that's not really that close.

- Marrow would be an idiot not to jump at the chance to add Belichick to his resume. And the chance to jump off this sinking ship.

THE commonwealth's team has been resurrected. Pearl is a snitch loser who was selling furniture this decade he deserves no praise on this day.

LFG beat the cards.

Auburn looks pretty damn good. They have the pieces. They just obliterated a decent Ohio State team, even if they are indeed fading a bit as of late.

Trey Townsend is a beast. I had wiped last March from my memory but knew I recognized the kid even though he plays a man’s game.

I think Tennessee loses today.

I hope we don’t “need” Butler today and he can come off the bench sparingly.

Disagree; without him, this game could be a toss up.

We need him against Hepburn so Oweh can spend more time on Shannon.

Need him to run the offense some too as Robinson has been inconsistent (especially in big games).

I think he’ll start but they’ll try to limit his minutes to somewhere in the 24-28 range. I think Oweh might run some 1 too instead of Perry and specifically if Jax struggles any at the 1.

Brea’s 3 point d will be important today; we can’t let guys like Smith shoot a ton of 3s today.

Kelse probably got some interesting intel from Waterman and Khalifa regarding how to slow us down.

You disagree that I hope we don’t need him to beat UL?

You think he’ll start, but they’ll limit his minutes which is basically what I said.

You try to hard sometimes and it’s kind of weird for someone that is otherwise a good dude and contributor.

Would like to see them give him a post touch or 2 and try to get waterman in foul trouble. They are thin in the front court.

Good to see Butler not taken out before the first tv timeout. He must be feeling good.
