GYERO

Supposedly, Kriisa's parents were in town for the weekend (from Europe, of course), and in a timeout near the end of the game, one of the other players pointed out that Kerr had 997 points and a three would get him to 1000. So the entire team was ok with him firing up a couple of threes to try to get to 1000 in front of his parents.

That's the story I just read.

It did look pretty selfish until I read the explanation.

One of my wife’s cousins brought one solitary raw rutabaga to Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Still laughing at the lazy randomness of that contribution.

Hahaha sounds like something Hort Elvison or The Clown would do (all while having a really intelligent back story though)

Have been slowly catching up on GY'RO & savouring the vibes , man

How insanely cool and rewarding is THIS $hit, huh?

Pope has almost immediately established himself as an archetype for contemporary college basketball coaching & the injection of keen attention to detail, emotional intelligence & passion --->> had no IDEA how empty our tank truly was under the former coaching staff -- they literally bled the most passionate fanbase in America into a unprecedented apathy

Anywho -

Also - LOVE the symmetry of Arkansas giving us Coach Eddie Sutton -- and now -- we kindly repay the good folks of Arkansas with a coach
From our "deck"

Insane how Cal really didn't orchestrate or influence ANYTHING after he was served his walking papers

He really must feel stuck & chapped and probably thinking the announcer's booth is starting to look pretty good

What a cluster FK, Paisan!
Momma Mia - these idiotes they don't a buya the tickets -

Now im Just riffing

@CSC81, Wisdom Panel. It’s a very popular dog DNA test. We did it on Clyde too. He was mostly husky, German shepherd, wheaten terrier and about 10 other random breeds.

When you have a mutt, it’s nice to know what they are so you can train/work with them based on general characteristics.
You know I just like giving you a hard time.

Honestly, would highly consider it if we ever rescue a mutt also.

I would leave my wife if she brought home a 10 wk puppy into our chaotic house.

This reminds me of the year long period where Brandi was dropping hints & escalating a propaganda campaign for us to BUY A MONKEY

Cause our daughters are grownup kinda and no longer live here and $hit ...a GD MONKEY!

Throwing poop and spreading Ebola - and probably dropping off monkey excrement in my shoes & raping the dogs and God knows what else

What Im staying is -
STAND FIRM. My Friend !!!

Mark Pope getting a little "saucy" with the official headed into the locker room. I'm sure it was filled with 4 syllable words.
If you notice, that Clash dude hip checked Carr and pushed him to the ground right as that shot was going up to end the half. I think he was giving it to the ref because he should’ve been called for a flagrant.

Dirty player.

Pope said the first thing he did during that scrum was to go hold a Ga St player back and the second was looking over at Lee Anne to make sure she wasn't rushing the court to join the fray.:p

Pre-football basketball post:

- Advanced stats would tell you Williams is our best player, and the eye test might tell you it's Oweh, but Butler is by far my favorite. I just love how that dude plays.

- That said, I thought Kriisa was great last night, especially in the first half. Advancing the ball, playing solid defense, and just generally being an irritant.

He and Butler are a nice change of pace. Both are always looking to attack, but Butler does it more with change of pace and body control - whereas Kriisa gets the ball and immediately looks to throw it up the court.

- Hopefully Brea getting all of his mean regression out of the way in the last two games.

- Wrapping up with some analytics:

  • Our shot chart:
i6yqK8k.png

  • We are only 95th in share of shots coming from 3.
  • We are 26th in percentage of shots coming from dunks.
  • Did you know we lead the nation in close two FG%?
  • Defensively, in terms of shots allowed, we are:
    • 6th in % coming from close 2s.
    • 16th in allowing dunks.
    • 4th in forcing long 2s.
  • ^ that is a winning formula.
  • Brea's shot chart is hilarious:
Nx9cSW6.png

  • Williams is:
    • 88th percentile in off. rebound %
    • 99th percentile in def. rebound %
    • 94th percentile in assist %
    • 92nd percentile in block %
  • For the season, we have taken 44 shots under 10 on the shot clock, and 189 with 20+ seconds left on the shot clock.

It is just unbelievable to me that a college level player somehow doesn’t understand that a tackle means wrapping the player up and taking them to the ground, not shoving him and hoping he just gives up.

Wonder why they named it that?

Will check right after this shower which I desperately need
The Bulldogs (Mississippi State) dominated the early days of the series including a 13-game A&M winning streak from 1911 to 1925 during which time the bulldogs outscored the Red and Blue by a combined 327–33.[11] Through 1925 Ole Miss had won only five times out of 23 total contests. In 1926 when the Red and Blue ended their 13-game losing streak by defeating A&M 7–6 in Starkville, the Ole Miss fans rushed the field with some trying to tear the goalposts down. Mississippi State fans did not take well to the Ole Miss fans destroying their property and fights broke out. Some State fans defended the goal posts with wooden chairs, and several injuries were reported. According to one account:

"Irate Aggie supporters took after the ambitious Ole Miss group with cane bottom chairs, and fights broke out. The mayhem continued until most of the chairs were splintered."[12]
To prevent such events in the future, students of the two schools created The Golden Egg, a large trophy which has been awarded to the winning team each year since 1927.

Beating opposing fans with chairs... There is something sublimely awesome about that.
