"Theyre a very difficult team to guard. Theyve got four guys on the floor that can shoot at all times. Theres always at least one guy thats among the best three point shooters in college basketball" - WKU coach
It would be nice if in the Mark Pope era we could add 🍆 (or 💦 for the ladies) to the reaction emojis on posts in here.

- Praying this Trump dub means we can get true comedies again.
This times a billion. The missus and I have been watching old Parks & Recs shows to go to sleep to. Even a primetime NBC comedy from ten years ago has jokes you couldn't do today -- which is ridiculous. Those characters were great because they were basically real people, not a collection of demographic facts.

* I randomly told my wife this morning about Wayne Turner getting lost on a snowmobile. Bring back the Great Alaska Shootout! (And call it a "Shootout", dammit!)

* Check the season box score. Amari has played 116 minutes thus far. Brandon Garrison has played 111. Amari has 18 turnovers. B-Man Garrison has 5 -- despite looking like a heart attack waiting to happen out there.

Something to watch as the season proceeds. I doubt Pope messes with the starting lineup this year but it wouldn't surprise me to see Garrison get more minutes than Amari if those numbers don't improve. Amari is personally responsible for 29% of the team's turnovers.

*. Happy Thanksgiving, GYERO.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Started taking liquid vitamins about 2 months ago and it’s been a game changer on my treatments! I’m not completely dead for 24 hours afterwards! Not sure how it makes it so much better but I’m damn thankful!!

Because of this new found ability to do things, I went fishing for the last 3 days from before daylight to dark. Was a great feeling, experience and caught my limit of sauger every day and then some. Well my body isn’t quite accustomed to all this, at 120 years old, I’m sore AF. But dammit, it sure as hell was worth every damn fish and newfound happiness on a Tuesday!!

Hope everyone has a great day, good food and is thankful we have a good team and coach to carry us all through a long winter, again!!

Driving through Louisville on I65 and I see a billboard that says “#HangTheBanner2013” on a SUE DISTRACTED DRIVER ad. I swear the delusion is hysterical!

Illinois all over UCal so far.

Man - DJ Wagner is one of the most over hyped recruits ever. He’s not even average, does nothing well at all. He’s a decent defender maybe, but even that’s a stretch

The kid is a decent college player but unless he does something quick he’s going to learn the hard way that he will be recruited over.

Now that Cal's not here, it's fascinating to watch the backwards slide with the Hogs.

Of all the hypotheticals being discussed re football, probably the least talked about is if Cutter is the real deal and Stoops has a chance to build around him for 3/4 years.

His finest skills are in acquiring talent and roster construction. There's real NFL talent on *this* roster. We just got the most important position wrong.

All I've got because he's not walking away from $40 mil.

What a treat having Lamont Butler and Kerr as your PG.

Thankful and blessed, Wildcat friends. Happy Thanksgiving!

First Arkansas game I’ve watched and they suck! I couldn’t be happier nobody came back from last year.

I honestly don’t give a damn how “on” Cal will be when we play him because his style and that team doesn’t stand a damn chance. I’d give a lot for a UL moment and him telling our guys we don’t want it……..I hope like hell Pope doesn’t have any mercy for that MFer!

Has to be rough on Z seeing his brother being used properly while cal is treating him like he’s Demarcus cousins. Hate to see it!!

Z would’ve made Kentucky the best team in the country, idc what anybody says. But alas, f*ck him and John calipari and his big mouthed little daughter

Hope you all had a great day. I did. Went to my parents house and had the same Thanksgiving meal my mom has made for all of my 43 years. Blessed, for real.

Sat on the couch and drank miller lites with my old man and brother in law and watched games all day. Including the entire Arkansas game, which is the first time I had watched them with any sort of intentionality (thanks gen z!) this year. It was cathartic. I feel like I have now fully moved past that era, and that we are in new times now. I knew that already, of course. But now I *feel it*. The way he managed / (non) coached that game was just chef’s kiss. I love all of you.

… Wait, I think Wagner is recklessly driving in again with five seconds left on the shot clock …..

I got a new puppy because my blind, deaf and diabetic one went to dog heaven couple months ago.

I picked her up a week ago. She is 10 weeks old. The first day we had her was Saturday. She sat on the couch all day with us watching football and snuggling. I worked from home this week and she would just lay by my feet while I took my meetings. Pure bliss.

Fast forward three days and it’s like she turned into a demon. She doesn’t want to be held, she attacks anybody who walks through the living room, she barks and growls at you when you tell her no. I got her out of her kennel this morning and put her in our bed and she just started trying to “dig” in the sheets like a lunatic. She’s like one of the bad Mogwais from Gremlins which is apt since she has a spike of white hair on her head. My goal went from getting her housebroken in a few weeks to just trying to keep her from eating food after midnight.

Shock collar.

One of my wife’s cousins brought one solitary raw rutabaga to Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Still laughing at the lazy randomness of that contribution.

When life gives you rutabaga you should make rutabaga pie. That’s what I always say. Or maybe it’s rhubarb? Either way, make pie.

I felt the same Wynn. Watched the first 10 mins of the game at in-laws in Va. Seeing it on the screen live gave me a sense that it really is over. It was like watching us the last 7 yrs.

Our pup is 1 1/2 now, don’t know if I can ever do another. Sheer terror last 14 months. Cutting his balls didn’t affect a thing. We use ALOT of canine hemp oil.
But I know that would put you in quite the moral conundrum there Wayne

We have an approximate 13 month old pup and she’s kind of a nut job. But she’s also really sweet, she just has to trust you. Luckily we are mostly past the chewing EVERYTHING up phase and have been potty trained for a while.

I recommend getting a trainer (not just basic treat based Petsmart training either). And once up to date on shots, giving them all the exercise you can.

What kind of dog, @WayneDougan?

I empathize going from old hospice patient dog to puppy. It’s a real hoot.
