GYERO

One type of coach screams, cusses, and yells at the refs every time he feels like things aren’t “going his way.” And just makes it more difficult on himself and his players.

Another type politely pulls the ref aside, has a civil conversation, and the game starts getting called more fairly.

“I’ll take door number 2, Monty.”

Mark, to me, looks like a man who is done.

My best guess is he negotiates a decent exit, spends a year in Tahiti, getting his mind right, and then waits to take over for Kirk Ferentz, when he finally dies.

If I’m wrong on this, our football program is headed to a dark place. Next year will be bad.

I'm surprised your gargoyle feet don't have better grip but showers mats are like $15 in Amazon.

Stayed at an Air BnB a few weeks ago and the mat was like crumpled up in there, and I wasn’t paying attention. So it worked totally opposite. The damn thing was slick af, as opposed to be auctioned to the tub. Closest I’ve ever come to a total wipeout.

Thank goodness Aaron Bradshaw just beat up a couple of women. Was starting to get worried Kentucky would get caught up in some legal shenanigans. 😅😅😅

Hurley is the perfect UConn coach. Hope he stays there forever. I hope he loses every game, but he’s the perfect yankee bitch for a school and fan base full of yankee bitches.

Year 4 of picking up my smoked Turkey on thanksgiving morning from the fine folks at proud Mary’s. Become one of my favorite traditions. Get up, nice little drive to Starbucks for an iced shaken espresso, beautiful drive through scenic Jessamine county down to the Kentucky river where my Turkey is ready to go. I’ve got enough stress in my life. Standing over a grill for 7 hours on a day off isn’t something I’m thankful for anymore. Might do it again one day, but probably not

Mark stoops seems genuinely confused about how to fix the football program but it seems pretty clear to me. Just needs to pack his shit and get a horse and live in the mountains some place and don't bother anybody

You looking to build a house?

Yes. We just completed a new build and we I knew I’d not get it right the first time. Plus I was uncomfortable to do that by myself on my first go round.

We love this house but the plan was to live here and find the little things we’d change and “improve” them for our final home.

If we can make the adjustments on some land we will be settled and my drive to get us to our final home will also be settled which is most important.

The idea that Iowa will hire Stoops is ludicrous. The guy posted on Twitter once the entire season.

Pope has posted twice in the last 9 hours.
Sumrall has posted six times the past 24 hours. Even fat whomp has posted twice in the last two days.

We are stuck with him. Unless Mitch catches another miracle break.

We will win Sat if we can score 20-24 pts. I mean, I think we certainly could now with new qb and we all know UL defense isn’t anything special. This is our bowl game now.

- I hope one day our round ball Cats will play in the Maui again or Battle 4 Atlantis.

Can you imagine a college head football coach having a section on his resume that is dedicated to his twitter posting ability?

What in the F!

That said are we only wanting Stoops gone if it’s Sumrall as the next coach? Or will just about anyone do because I think Brady is going to get his wish of Stoops leaving……..before Xmas!

The problem of going through the Football Coach wishlist is having to pass (MTLTEP) Milquetoast’s Torquemada Litmus Test for Ethical Purity…

If that didn’t exist, I got some rascally suggestions for HC Mark Stoops successor.

Yes. We just completed a new build

I was just kidding, knowing the last thing most people want to do after building is do it again any time soon. (And wasn't that like the 2nd or 3rd one you built in the last few years?) You are definitely doing your thing. Follow your dreams wildcat friend.

If Sumrall takes a gig elsewhere and is off the table, I'm not sure there's another coach right now jumping off the page to me in the same way.

I'm not as pissed at Stoops as some (and not as invested either, which is important to note). I don't think he's capable of turning this around in this era. This feels like Jay Wright 2.0, except Jay is a mfing baller.

I'm also not sold on a waffling coach who spends most of his time talking about what he doesn't have rather than what he does.

Either way, it's Sumrall or bust for me.

No hyperbole, Day 1 of the Maui might be the single best day of college basketball. Multiple 20 point comebacks, buzzer beaters, OT, it had it all. Man, would have loved to be there, today should really good also.

In that he doesn't want to deal with NIL/transfer portal and clearly has more left in the tank, yes. I clarified that Wright was on another level but you were too busy writing a thesis on how the charge is good for basketball to catch it.
Sorry Beck. "Homeless man's Jay Wright" would have been a better term. 2.0 infers an improved version of a HoF coach with multiple titles.

for those not paying attention, Brown is out at UNC, so Mr mediocre will be on his high horse I’m sure.

Also, FSU who was 13-1 last year and 2-9 this year, but most importantly are now losing recruits to UF and Miami left and right!

If Deon goes to Dallas, then FSU is your hope for Stoops! I don’t want to hear drivel saying no chance because A&M hired his ass last year.

“We have a gratitude circle where we practice gratitude. You can actually get better at being grateful, you can actually practice it,” Pope said. “Our guys practice it and they’re great at it. We do a gratitude circle after practice where we’ll go around and play gratitude tag. One of the guys will say what they’re grateful for, then tag someone else on the team — well, it’s not a literal tag, they just say someone else’s name. They talk about what they’re grateful for and it’s a beautiful thing.”
