The skeptic in me thinks it’s hard to quit on your own documentary and you better get plenty of empty gym footage. I’ve seen too many Boston “make it look like I’m playing defense but not pick up this foul” moves from him to give the benefit of the doubt.

First attempt at dry aging beef was a success. 42 days on a 14lb prime ny strip. Extremely tender, intense flavor. Only downside really was how much gets wasted trimming the funk off.

Actually, he is not a bust at all. Given you are 18 games into a freshman season, that by all evidence is a detriment to mind, body, and soul, it is a wonder these young men have the moxy to continue to battle through this. With UK's yearly expectations, what they are experiencing this season only compounds matters, especially for highly regarded freshmen, and that goes for teams everywhere.
Throw in the fact that Cal has continually displayed the x's and o's prowess of a YMCA junior pro league dad, that will also take it's toll on fragile minds, especially when they don't know from one moment to the next if they are coming out for even the slightest mistake.
I know you like to play the "I am a college basketball" role, and often you are pretty good, but not now. You are as bad as your $9M/yr coach who refuses to look at the big picture and what it takes to actually get ready to even take the court in these crazy times.
Did you expect him to come out and be a 20/5/5 guy immediately.......with the lineup that surrounds him? If so, check your Wilson at the door, because you are shooting bricks.

- Pet peeve during days like this...people who post "HOW ARE THE ROADS IN ________????". Well, guess what, numbnuts, they're slick. Why do you expect your area to be that much different than every other town/county surrounding you? Obviously, if there's a road closure, that's different, but otherwise, guess what....it's slick.
- The problem with calling Boston a "bust" is the same problem we have with language in general. Words that used to be more exclusive in nature are now used to describe EVERYTHING. To me, a "bust" as a freshman is a kid who you literally cannot play because they're so bad. Of course, part of the reason Boston plays so much is because we don't have any other options. But I still wouldn't call him that. A terrible disappointment? Sure. And like someone said, put him on almost any other Cal team, and he's probably doing just fine. But Cal's roster mismanagement put him in a really difficult spot to begin with, and he hasn't done anything to dig himself out of it.
- Very interesting that Cameron Meals tweeted last night about Shep being cool with Cal. Gotta believe that was, if not orchestrated, at least approved....either as a sign that Kentucky can enter the fray, a way to get BJW off their backs, or as a way to keep adding to the Reed mystique. Hope he gets to play in summer events so we can see how he measures up against something other than the 13th Region.
- If you thought Len Elmore was bad when he was calling games courtside, he's even worse calling games from his basement. That NW/IU game was rough enough WITHOUT his "takes".

He has a great attitude but he's got a long way to go. In reality he needs another year to get rid of all those bad habits and put on some muscle. In Cal World, he's gone as a late 1st - mid 2nd rd pick. In 3 weeks he's going to be a professional, he's not a kid anymore, so he better get used to it.
-That's 4 pretty solid failures(Hami, Skal, Whitney, Boston) by Cal. His only 2 top 5 recruits since 2016 were both huge disappointments. Believe the mind f*ck game he plays with those dudes may need to be revisited as well. Of course he has guys like Quickley, Washington, Herro, and SGA, which all outplayed their rankings, but the busts are racking up.

She and her staff also got the vaccine yesterday, blowing that stunt up on social media, even though only 65+ and certain high risk people/jobs are eligible.
