Closer to his daughter and his Jersey Shore beach house, still worshiped by everyone there, etc. Bring Dejuan's kid to UMass and try to replicate what he did at Memphis and UMass for the last ten years of his career.

Cal doesn't want to walk away from the money at UK, sure, but I bet what he hates most of all is the way fans and media have turned on him this year. Tucker is ethering him with every article. I think the lack of adoration is eating at him.

I was wondering when we would finally get to the desperate Players Only Meeting to turn the season around.

By my count we've already tried a few storylines:

1. Local boy never gets off bench, but when he finally does- he wills his team to victory (then is pretty much below average after that and transfers after the season- never playing for UK again)
2. Hot head player gets too emotional and leaves the team, only to apologize and come back to be a contributor (but he never plays again this season or for UK)
3. Only decent player on the team hurts his foot or ankle or leg or some shit- only to supposedly be back in time to try and get his awful team a few more wins (except the coach exposed the fact that x-rays showed no injury, only to backtrack and then say he is really hurt he just won't tell us what the injury is- and the player never plays at UK again)

I don't think it is likely that Beard leaves TT as his daughters live close by, and has already proven he can reach the championship game at Tech. He makes close to $5M per which is not chump change but would love to have him here.
