Vern,

I think you’d have a hard time with Hancock.

In college basketball you can’t back your man down from the three point line, throw your shoulder into the defender knocking him to the ground and brick multiple layups until you make one.
You seem to forget that I scored on your weak ass anywhere on the court. I could beat you without entering the lane, chump.

This is pretty major news - not sure how I feel about it yet.

People immediately talking pace of play, but I’m not sure it wouldn’t actually help there in some instances.

Will be interesting to see how it goes & if others (USGA, R&A, Augusta) follow suit - I wouldn’t count on it.

I mean, some friends of mine recently named their beautiful blue eyed, thin blonde haired, rosey cheeked son Luke.

If any of the Big Dogs are looking to upgrade their caddy, I think '73 has a great chance at looping on the PGA Tour after all.

Who's Bubba going to blame now?

These guys certainly don’t need things made easier...but is it easier, or just simpler/quicker?

They have such an incredible amount of information (and caddy prep) it’s staggering how accurate they get EXACT distance (to any spot) on their own.

...and it takes them WAYYYYY too long to go through it all, on every single shot.

Shoot your number, factor slope/wind, pull a stick.

Not sure I’m against it in theory, but reserve the right to change my mind.

-It took me a while to get on board with Luke’s name because of Luke Hancock.

-I miss working in the office right now because I’m missing Bill Meck’s excitement for this weather. He truly gets joy out of weather and is the nicest man.

-Watching this team is like a chore. Maybe like unloading the dishwasher? It’s gotta be done, but not enjoyable at all.

-Clyde’s arthritis has been bothering him lately so he’s on a pain medicine schedule every 8 hours. That means 7a, 3p and 11p. At least I’m working from home doe the midday dose, but it would be nice to go to sleep before 11 occasionally. The good news is, he’s feeling better and vet says he can probably go back twice a day soon. He turns 14 last month.

I’ve spent the last 10 months living as if my life, and/or our modern society, was going to end at any moment. Eating like a pig, drinking like a fish, getting 4 hours of sleep per night, not even bothering to go into privacy mode when I log on the Hub. The works, really.

...and now I’m getting vaccinated this week.

37 was a bit young for a mid-life crisis, but I wanted to make sure that I got to relive my glory days before I died and got sent off to a funeral that nobody was allowed to attend.

I'd take an ugly face and another foot of height to drop a three on the cats on my way to a lucrative career in Bangladesh. Nonetheless, I'm just a moderately attractive guy doling out hot takes on the internet.

Life is funny like that.
