Honolulu to see Pearl Harbor/USS Missouri/Wakikki Beach, then go to Kuaui and/or the big island for the volcanoes.

Ok, the OF SiB Barrel Strentghs are better IMO than the OF150, and I’ve come around a lot on the OWA, especially the non chill filter.

People like what they like, and tastes change too.

I may never reach this goal, but if I barely fall short, sheeeiiiiitttttt

Wish these questions would go to the guy making $9 million a year but at least there's some uncomfortable questioning finally starting to go on...

* Justus fields an uncomfortable question about the game passing Calipari by and whether he takes input on new ideas from the staff... Awkward segment. Not sure how to summarize it. But he says Cal always takes input from his staff.

- None of the 13 winningest programs of all-time in the college basketball Top 25. Incredible.

- How can anyone not like Starboy, Blinding Lights, I Feel It Coming and The Hills? Universally good shit.

- Picked up the best Elijah Craig pick I’ve ever had yesterday.

- All I’m going to say is I hope this bourbon tasting took place with the tasters promptly replacing their masks after each sip.

- Speaking of, reading the timeline of China’s early cover up of COVID is infuriating.

- Listened to Springsteen’s “Nebraska” album this weekend. Great winter listen. Love him or hate him, dude is one of the greatest songwriters of all-time.

- The sons of Wagner and Shep combining to send Cal out with a national championship in ‘23/24?

9 people in a well ventilated home with top of the line air quality products, half the attendees with either antibodies or vaccines. If our Lord and Savior, the ultimate unilateral decision maker, can't get down with that. He can kindly go f*ck himself, and by kindly, I mean with a rusty piece of dogshit covered pipe and not kindly at all.

I know you’re not normally a mean-spirited, negative person so I’m going to stick with you through these tough times. Things will get better, my friend. Keep on keeping on. God bless.

RE: Nebraska, there’s a tried and tested rule- if you live in a place Bruce Springsteen sings about, you probably want to move.

I mean, I don’t think Mark Stoops is in a hurry to get back to Youngstown, so I think the rule works.

We were going to Hawaii this summer but there's just way too much uncertainty to bank on a vacation working out there any time soon. Each island has their own requirements and we didn't want to risk something not working out while justifying a trip that far.
Somewhat concerned about that too. It would all be refundable, of course.

I read restaurants are at 50% capacity and I believe most excursions are available. If we did go, it would be late summer/early fall.

Never been and definitely want to get there soon.

- If you ain’t dreaming big, you ain’t living right. I don’t pray for blessings, but if I get this system from Vendome that they just quoted me I will be building a living quarters at my own damn distillery(thinking something like SOA style) and just shack up rarely to be seen again.

I mean, it’s a beaut Clark!
You can dream, but you’ll need drawings.

Well considering I gave away a few OWA and traded an open OF150 for an M10 Rye I am probably making it all up, UKO style.

False

You like it, great! Really it’s good to like different things. I love a lot of OF products, but have absolutely had a few SiB that were better, to me.

- Kooky, the state has to approve this so I’ll need the final drawings to be stamped. Unlike Franklin County, I believe the state will be all over my ass to make it right.

I know a guy that has a perfect spot to put a whiskey distillery. It's a farm that used to be an 18th century settlement where whiskey was confirmed to have been distilled. The owners at the turn of the 1800s were former neighbors of Elijah Craig too which makes the story cooler. It even has an old grist mill and sawmill still on the property where grains were processed and barrels where coopered. It could be the Shaker Village of the bourbon trail.

krazy, if you have any interest in something like that I could hook you up with the owner.

I don't find it uncorrelated that in the time of COVID the Super Bowl teams were the squads with the two best QBs and a veteran nucleus... or that the winningest teams in college basketball who are increasingly relying on players in their first year with the program are historically losing.

Coaches and infrastructures mattered less than ever this year and teams that didn't have veterans and cultures in place have not faired well.

And when he need the drawings, he should call a guy whom doesn’t live in New Jersey.

Good for the state, IMO!
Whom?

False.

Typically you go out of state for signature projects... because, ya know. Talent and whatnot.

Plus, too late. Already supplied him with warehouse plans.

I’m actively registered in KY. But your call. I can consult.

My bad. I didn’t realize this was a for a signature warehouse.

Hey, if talent moves to the coasts (like I did), does that mean that lack of talent forces you from the coast inland - like you did when you matriculated from NJ to KY?

Talent means, I’m still in the game.

I couldn't do a job with an architect that didn't plan to be on site when one of their specs get wonky.

I've come close to fisticuffs with some bad architects. A good architect will save you more than their fee though.

Using Luckett and Farley. Have to in a way, but they seem really good.

Nothing at all against Kooky, and really appreciate the help as it’s probably the same plan for the warehouse building, but these guys have to layout the columns, Still, fermenters, dump tanks, piping, bottling machine etc

It’s more than just drawing the building.

@krazykats Please hold a GYERO architectural design competition for the next phase of the DH facilities.

I will have extensive distillery experience (Louisville architects) on my team, we won’t charge exhorbitant fees for the “expertise” of the “coast” which I already have anyway, and most importantly: I will relish wiping the floor with this jamook.

This will be a lot of fun (for you and I, at least) and a good storyline for the thread.

TIA.

EDIT: Damnit, Krazy! My ringer is a former L&F guy. Let me know know if you need any extra design help or extra virtual mock-ups / renderings to visualize things. Godspeed.

Aint you selling door hardware or some shit? Go link a Bozo Bit post, as no one will care again for the 4th time.[laughing]

in any case, I didn’t pick any fight with Joey - I’m sure he’s a ‘fine’ architect.

L&F Designed Bardstown Bourbon Co., IIRC. Or was it OF? You’ll be served well. My first job out of college was with T Dade Luckett & Assoc in Louisville. He was son of orig.

My firm did Muhammad Ali Center and 4th St Live... just for context.

Yes it is. Especially when some people are more upset about calling it the China virus than how they shit all over the world.

Have always agreed with that.
For all of the grief UofL media got for being in their pocket, it's not a good look that the toughest questions our head coach gets are during his call-in show.

The Louisville media was ignoring widespread scandal and athletic department rot. So great comp.

Calipari hasn’t answered a question straight up his entire life anyway.
