Grant Williams

Not to sound entitled, but we're the damn Boston Celtics. You don't "learn to coach here, you get this job because you already know how to coach. Fire this kid, let him go learn what he's doing somewhere else. Not in Boston. Our window for a title isn't big enough in the east to throw away seasons like this. Milw & Phil were our 2 big obstacles to the finals. Golden opportunity squandered.
Really the Heat shouldn’t be in this series and they are dominating with 3 undrafted players. Spolstra is killing Mazulla in strategy. The guys have to show up which they didn’t but I don’t think the Celtics ever win a ship relying on Tatum and Brown. Too similar players, neither is an alpha, they disappear too often.

Mazulla is a dear in headlights out there is he not?

Celtics were this way last year but they olayed harder. But their offensive scheme is spread out rhe floor with shooting and pick and roll you to infinity to get a good matchup then take you off rhe dribble or three point shot. Much of NBA is this way but the best offense also has player movement and the ball popping. Brown and Tatum are dribbling the air out of the ball and Heat are content to guard them to tough shots

Not pretty basketball to watch

He was only at Tennessee for 3 years. Hate him all you want but he was still a 1st Team All-american and 2 time SEC player of the year. He was a great college player and is a average NBA player.
Our definition of great differs...kid did more flopping than a dookie. It should've embarrassed him

Seemed like 5 years.

The point is, he got away with that flopping, and pushing, and trash talking on Rocky Top because the SEC officials allowed him to play that way.

Especially in Knoxville. He is an NBA role player and has no business talking trash to a player like Butler.

He literally cost Boston game 2 with his playground antics. He woke up the Bear and the Bear ate him up. And his Celtics teamates along with him.

Tatum and Brown were hiding from the ball last night.

I know, it happens a lot honestly for two guys that good. They have a lot of James Harden in them. Disappear or don’t have the playoff gene like a Kobe, Magic, MJ. The need to study Jimmy Butler. He’s a real player that crushes in the playoffs game in and out. They have a first row seat.

Even if we lose, my take aged well. Glad grant stood up for himself. We probably don’t win Game 4 without him. Shameful JB didn’t have his back postgame Game 2.
