They play back on us and we still can’t make them on a consistent basis.

They hit 8 at Arkansas and won by 15, this team is capable of making 7 per game

We did NOT beat Arkansas because we hit 8 3's. In fact, move everyone of those 8 baskets 2' closer and make them long 2's and we still win.
We were down 11-0 to start partly because 3 of our first 4 attempted shots were 3's. We NEED to establish the inside game, and then that will free up some open looks from 3 (making those 35-40% shots instead of 25-30% shots).

We only made 4 3's in our 10 point win over Alabama.

We beat Arkansas because:
1) after the first 3 minutes, we owned the glass (45 to 21 the last 37 minutes)
2) we took care of the ball, especially in the 2nd half (11 TOs, just 3 in 2nd half 2 of which were in the final 3 minutes when the game was decided)
and 3) we scored well INSIDE.

I can't believe how some people can watch a game and not realize WHY we won.

We didn't win because of our proportion of 2s and 3s taken.

We won because we rebounded 50% of our misses and took care of the ball. Period.

Knocking down 85% of our free throws didn't hurt either.

The key is not to suffer a massive deficit from 3 they should win boards and FTs darn near every game

I dont mind the right guys shooting them though with Knox and Green and occasional three by SGA and Gabriel
