I will say that they looked very impressive against a solid Notre Dame team on the road. It's the most recent impressive win. I still take our win over UL as more impressive. Besides, if the #1 team doesn't lose, they shouldn't drop.

Voting VA. No. 1 after our lackluster performance is ludicrous but it may not be a bad thing to be second until the tournament.
It is likely though that Virginia will become #1 at KenPom soon. They are only .0007 behind us after this weekend's games, and they have 4 pretty easy games before they play Duke.
I hope they are #1 at the end too. That means they beat Duke, North Carolina, and Louisville. Im always down for that. If Kentucky and Virginia both went undefeated in the regular season I would be the happiest person in the room

It would be. People need to acknowledge that it appears the ACC may get two 1 seeds though. I mean to be honest, the #1 seed fighting is pretty vicious at this point.
UK, Duke, UVA, Wisconsin, Arizona. All of these teams have 0 or 1 losses. I do not think Cupcake City Gonzaga will get much consideration though.

He hates UK and has been saying this all year about UK #1 and also the Cal and Platoon System and how much he hated the Platoon system. He will always be negative against UK no matter what is being talked about in College Basketball. UVA could have easily lost yesterday after escaping Notre Dame 62-56. Before Notre Dame Virginia went to Double OT with Miami and had a close game with NCState. All of the top 10 teams have been struggling more since the Conferences have started up in the last 2 weeks. The voting maybe closer and UVA may receive some #1 votes but they will not take over #1 being at #3 and Kentucky winning even though it was OT at Texas A&M. It was still a WIN and a WIN on the ROAD. Texas A&M even when they were in the Big 12 was always a tough game for all teams when playing on their home court. Kentucky will stay #1 now until they are beaten by someone.
Good points. I think the thing for people on the UVA hype train point to them getting their 3 best wins on the road. I will mention that Maryland did not have their best player when they won there. They probably do not win if he plays (IMO) as he is that good.
And that #1 seed race I talked about earlier? It cleared up a bit tonight. Tonight shows me Arizona will probably be a 2 seed. I think Wisconsin is still in good shape if they dominate an overrated Big Ten most of the rest of the way as Kaminsky did not play and they will take that into account if he comes back and they kick ass.
