Who would win, and why? I think Golden State could win 70-75 games. Steph is the second best player behind Lebron, and I predict that he will break the single-game three point record (I see him hitting 15-19 in a game) this season. I see them losing maybe 7-10 games this year. There does not seem to be many elite teams. Oh, yeah, and Steph just hit another three.......

Players are scared of Steph; Rubio's out tonight. It seems like every team GS plays is down a starter. Steph with another three.......He might get 15 threes tonight.

The game is so much different than it was 20 years ago, particularly defend up. Which rules are they playing under, from 1996 or 2015?

I think Jordan is unguardable in either case, but if you allowed the Bulls to be physical with Curry then they would win.

I think teams are SCARED of the Warriors. I'm not sure any teams in the 90's were scared of anyone. Zach LeVine is scared of Curry. He's got 16 in the first Q so far. Why can't the Lakers have him?

Jordan had this eye of the tiger plus killer instinct. Plus who is gunna keep Rodman from getting 40 rebounds?he banged with Barkley, Ewing, Larry Johnson and the list goes on and on. What do you think he would do to Draymon Green and Harrison Barns.

Curry has 21 in the first quarter. Jordan might average 40 points per game, with 52% shooting in today's game. Imagine if he cared about the three-point line. Curry is gonna get 60 tonight.

Maybe it's because I was 13 at the time and they seemed like super heroes. But I don't think I'll ever see a team like those Bulls. You could put Saul Smith at pg and Lukasz Orbzut at center around Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman and they'd win 60 games.

1996 Bulls...I'm not really sure this is even a legit question, but yeah, 96 bulls. And the Warriors winning 70-75 games? Oh so 70 is not enough, you are syaing they could beat the Bulls record by THREE GAMES? LMAO good one.

I don't think Steph Curry could handle Reggie Miller let alone Micheal freackin Jordan. No disrespect but as Cris Carter would say. "Come on man!" lol. In all seriousness that was a different league all together. It was a fisical league. Remember the Bulls vs Kicks. They often ended in blood. Just don't think Steph Curry could out physical those guys.

75 games isn't happening. Someone better than Bogut is bound to get hurt, players will get rested some at some point, etc.

Things have changed so much since then. It used to be a grind it out, pound it in kind of game. Plus the three point line is further back. Playing with today's rules, I say Warriors in a close one. Playing with old rules, I say Bulls in a blow out. The teams were built for their eras.

I'm not sure GS would even make it past the Jazz in the Western Finals, let alone stand a chance against Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kerr and Kukoc, with Jackson at the helm.

Kerr was on that team, and has a chance to coach the one that could do it. I don't think it will happen but who really knows.

Bulls could've have played small ball with them very well.

PG-Harper
SG- Jordan
SF-Pippen
PF-Kukoc
C-Rodman

GS would have a hard time scoring against that line up. That's 3 of the best defenders to ever play the game. Lets not act like GS is some unbelievable team remember just a few months ago when Lebron took a bunch of bums and came within 2 games of beating them by himself.

Period comparisons are always difficult. I can't really say. What I can say is that GS is very, very good. I watched their game with the T-wolves last night because of course they start two ex-UK player's including KAT who for the most part does not look like a rookie at all. Who was it that coached him up last year? Some guy named Cal I believe. As for the Warrior's it's a long, long season, but right now the possibility of a repeat appears very real as does the chance to perhaps set a record for the best regular season record ever, but it doesn't mean it won't play out like UK's season did last year with them ultimately losing in the play-offs, perhaps to the Cav's.

Still waiting to see what Curry can do with Thompson as a running mate. Also waiting to see how Golden States handles it's first impacting injury.

This is more about GSW being a great team as a whole, and a healthy one at that. Thompson, while starting the season in a mini-slump, is always overlooked. He is incredibly important for GSW and even more so for Curry.

Also, we're comparing what GSW did against playoff teams that had to clear the bench out for minutes. Are we comparing GSW to a healthy '96 Bulls.. or to a '96 Bills with no Pippen and an injured Harper?

When did the NBA ever change their 3
Point line?

Tell that to Michael or Scotty, heck even Dennis (Oh and a fella named Kerr...Heck Kukoc, Salley, yaddda, yadda, yadda...)

wrong year, Sonic's in 96 and put Gary Payton on curry,he'd make him cry.

Curry's team barely beat the worst team to come out of the Eastern Conference in my lifetime. GS would be lucky to win one game against Da Bulls. If played with the physicality of the 90's, stick Pippen on Curry and it's a wrap.

The 1999 Knicks, 2002 Nets and 2007 Cavs say hello.

Umm.. How was Cleveland the worst team to come out of the EC in your lifetime? I hope you're including injuries, I'd agree. But healthy, that team was pretty nice.

They were a 7th man away from winning the title...

I love the old Bulls' teams and think Jordan is the GOAT by a crazy wide margin.

BUT, it's time for people to stop overlooking Curry. He's probably the greatest shooter in the history of the game. Or will be by the time all is done. And yes, I don't need a history lesson on who the greatest shooters are. Curry is that good.

Bulls would win easy, by the way.

Of course i'm considering injuries. For the majority of the series the second best player on that team was Tim Mosgov. Third best was JR Smith. Coaching consisted of give the ball to LeBron and see if he can get us 40...if not, we get blown out. When LeBron ran out of steam GS finished the series pretty easily.

Which is why I think if Cleveland had any 8th man, just to give the rest of the team some rest, they'd have won that series. Absolutely gased by the end of it.

Bulls I think, but GS doesn't get nearly enough respect for what they're doing. They had a historically great season last year, look even better this year, and I don't think there's any question that Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all time. He's doing things that have simply never been done before.

Depends on the rules in place. 1996 rules, very close. 2015 rules, Warriors are the heavy favorite. I'm a huge Bulls fan (grew up in the Chicago suburbs) and grew up with those Bulls teams (over the air WGN). Scottie Pippen is my favorite player ever (and I'll fight anyone who disses him). But the game evolves. Training is better, understanding of rest is better, spacing is valued, scouting has improved, and generally the athletes are better. Best match-up - Pippen/Green. Just from a style perspective.

Anyone who answers this question without referencing rule changes probably doesn't know what they're talking about, imho. The hand checking and zone defense stuff changed everything about how teams play defense and, in turn, how offenses have developed.
