With Bam completing his visits and now word yet from his camp, is it possible UK is right there and he is waiting to see what Giles does since we will know in a week?

Meh...if he wants UK and is waiting to see if Giles will go to UK so he can go to state why wouldnt he just beat Giles to the punch?
Yeah, i'm not buying this theory. If Bam wanted to be at UK, why wait to see what Giles ends up doing? Just beat the kid to the punch and commit first. I'm pretty sure Bam is a good enough talent that Cal would gladly accept a commitment from. After thinking about our possible roster for next season, i think Bam would be the kind of post player that would work best. With the projected guards we will have on the roster, shots are probably going to come from our backcourt, which means we need a big man who can rebound and score putback dunks off of rebounds. That kind of big would be perfect for a roster with elite guards. Can you imagine how fun of a team we would be to watch if we had Fox leading the break with Monk and Gabriel trailing and Bam on the inside to clean up any misses? It would be a dream come true. Too bad this kid has ncstate on the mind and would look at the situation from a future earnings view point.
To read this board UK will never get another recruit. Pretty much every time a big recruit is down to us and one or two other schools, all I see are posts about how we won't get them. Such was the case the last few days before Murray chose. Almost nobody was calling it for UK. Not saying we get Bam or Giles, but it just seems negativity has become the norm, which is bizarre given Cal's track record.

I think Bam is pulled in 2 different directions. One camp is in his ear about staying home and playing at NC State. The other which is just a couple and he is kinda wanting this is to go to UK. He likes NC State all right but he has concerns of being developed the proper way and we have the best track record in the country at developing big men for the pros. He knows this as well. He would like to make a business decision for himself and if that majority camp wasn't in his ear all the time pressuring him to stay in North Carolina he would commit to us.
I'd love to see him and Giles together down low. Bam plays much bigger than his height of 6'9". Has really long arms and can get up really good. I can see a ton of lobs coming his way and be a rebounding king.
I would not be surprised at all if Humphries declared after this season along with Lee, Poy and Skal as well so their will be some minutes available.

Why is that? I thought it was 1 yr out of HS or 19 yrs old. He meets the 1 yr out if HS criteria.
Best friend is there and the shoe company that sponsored the events he was featured at is undoubtedly promising to scratch his back if he goes to an adidas school. It'll probably win out too.
