Georgia Loses to Chattanooga

Can't say I'm surprised but man, Gaines and Mann are too good to let that happen. Fox just isn't very good.
I'm starting to feel bad for UGA fans, their football and basketball coaches do way less with so much talent than any other coaches out there… well, Rick Barnes is still hanging around but you get my point.

Yeah UGA does this every year . They will play well once they get to the SEC but always lose to a bad team or 2 and will end up with a worse NCAA seed then they should have . IMO LSU , Miss St and Vandy are top 20 teams but guys like MIss St and Bama are as bad as ever . Like last year the SEC will be 4th best conference but it is a hell of an improvement compared to 2012-2013 when we were like 7th best .

Huh? You say Miss State is an NCAAT team but then you said they "are as bad as ever". Did you mean to say that Ole Miss is a tournament team? I can agree with that.

LSU and Vandy very impressive tonight. They will both be very good.

Mark Foxx made the tournament last year. He doesn't have to again for another four years.

But so far so good for the sec. The conference isn't going to go undefeated. As long as the supposed good teams win and get/stay ranked, we're ok. Bottom feeders can lose. Just need the lsu, texas A&M, Vandy's to do well and not lose to any mediocre power five teams. It would be nice to play a couple top 25 teams in February.

Dont start this again???? Hell almost every sec team won snd we gotta here how down the league is off one loss

No I meant Texas A&M sorry . Miss St and Bama are horrible .
Actually Mississippi State played really well last night. They struggled against a pretty good mid major but hit the gas pedal halfway through the second half and blew them out. The old MSU probably loses or eeks it out.
Keep in mind, Newman didn't play.

yeah, watched most of that game - it'll be interesting to see how Newman fits in

They looked very athletic to me. Maybe it was just a case of their opponent tiring out but either way they looked better than I thought they would look.

I watched a decent amount of the MSU game and was impressed. Howland is a huge upgrade over Rick Ray Bob. Watch out for MSU this year as I think they will be a bubble type team.

It will be interesting to see what happens in Starkville. They have to play on the road so we will see. I don't think they'll make the tournament but if Howland keeps bringing in top players they are going to be a good program.

I don't know, might be too early to say they won't make the tourney. Let's see how their OOC plays out. If last night was an indication they very well could make it

Shocking consindering Mark Fox and his 0 NCAA tournament wins in 5 years at UGA is basically John Wooden to this board.

UGA shot 45FTs, 10of20 from 3 and still lost.

Sounds like practice will be defensive going forward.
