You always take the points in that situation. It was 4th and 2 not 4th and inches.

Going for a 36 yard fg on 4 and 2 in the 1st qtr isn't exactly the dumbest call ever made. Nothing wrong with trying to get on the board first. If you can't recover from that you're not competitive anyway.
That's funny because anyone who lnows football would look at the situation, D playing well, offense moving ball, and say take the fg.
It was a very doable kick distance. Had he gone for it and missed there would have been more complaints.
Should've tried to draw them offsides. If it doesn't work you take the delay of game and give the kicker 5 yards, at that angle it would've helped.
Wasn't it 4th and three or four? We got a bad spot - I think a time out to look at spot was warrented - but you got to kick that field goal. It wasn't 4th and one like some believe
Listen dude when it’s pouring rain and you have 4th and short on your opponents 20 you don’t “try” to put points on the board with your unproven kicker. Stoops is ultra conservative and now if MSU scores here that may be the game
In horrible rainy and wet conditions after you just picked up 18 of the 20 yards you needed and a new kicker ? I don't think so. Only my opinion.
Didn't realize that the SEC Network's "SEC Nation" gameday show is scheduled to be in Starksville next week. Feels like the hosing is on with the refs refusing to call holding on MSU.
