Did Frank Martin ever play basketball, either in college or high school? Sure cant find anything on the internet saying that he ever did?

Now that I don't know. I remember we played FIU earlier and the announcers kept talking about how good of friends Martin and the FIU coach were because they played together at FIU. I would think FIU has had an NCAA D1 or D2 basketball team for a very long time. But not sure.

BTW..........congrats on taking down UCLA

It would make sense as club sports aren't officially members of the NCAA.

Well, it's happened quite often in all sports where some of the all time greatest players just don't prove to be very good coaches/managers when they turn to that after retirement. So, I guess you don't have to really be much of a player to end up being a very good coach.
