Flag planting prediction

Within a month of seasons end we will learn that planting flags on the field will be illegal and offending teams will be fined. There’s been like 3 fights today.

Baker mayfield is the all time champion at it though.

It should be banned. It's a disrespectful, unnecessary bs move.

If the home team decides to take issue with it, I don't blame them. Just because they lost the game, doesn't mean it's not their house.

They can’t actually plant a flag on an artificial turf field and it’s part of a rivalry let them have their fun. If Ohio Stare or anyone else doesn’t like it play better and don’t lose the game. I remember in High School it was protect the A ( Ashland) Greenup County in pregame warmups decided to stomp the A and the fight was on before the game during the game and after the game. Greenup got taken behind the woodshed.

The Michigan player inteviewed afterwards articulated some very good points, to include having to learn how to lose properly. He should also have said -- and he may have and I might have missed it, to be fair -- that you also have to learn how to win properly. UK fans and maybe some players too are guilty and certainly so are other teams' players and fans. This is a great lesson in sportsmanship that Greg Sankey (SEC Commissioner) and many others could help teach and reinforce. Coaches too must emphasize how to win graciously.

This is pretty unique, but as the players get off thecfield, they allow fans to walk down to the field. Carolina fans were disrespectful and no flag was involved
