The craziest thing about this class, in my view, is that today is only November 17 and this class is already making me giddy. Cal always comes through, even like he did this last year with the late additions of Murray, Humphries, and Wynyard, but it's usually spring before we get a good feel for how the class will be completed. But this is nuts! November 17th and already sitting pretty. If we do add Monk, and I think all signs are pointing that way, that class is crazy good. It's already crazy good.

I doubt that Hawkins will be the back up point guard if we land Monk. He is more than just a scorer, he's very underrated as a playmaker. I watched him play 3 games at the EYBL this summer and he is an excellent passer. He consistently got to the lane and found the open man. To me, he was the most impressive player there, including Giles, Tatum and Bridges.

This is a very healthy roster and it is assuming that Ulis is gone after this year. That is not set in stone by any means. I do expect him to be but it is not a certainty.
