DeBoer is a good coach and they've got terrific talent this year. They'll be in the playoff almost 100% for certain. He's got the #1 recruiting class thus far for next year. Bama's gonna be Bama for a good long while. DeBoer won't match Saban's dominance one would think but Bama will be in hunt pretty much every year, imo.

F*ckers.

Of course they will be. With their NIL and historical prestige, they will be a permanent machine going forward. Doesn't mean they will win the title 6 times in 11 years like they did from 2009 to 2020 as I expect a bigger playoff will provide more variety in champs (although it will be one of the same 8 to 10 teams that have the best chance to win it every season) but they will be in it most years.

They aren't " going away" but I thought Deboer
coached a very poor game in the second half, he was damned lucky to come away with a win,he didn't put on the brake but he did let off the gas and it almost cost him. Rushing 4 ,that weren't putting pressure on UGA and never taking any risk and blitzing almost cost him the football game. Nick Saben he aint, somebody will beat them this year, hide and watch.

They’re not going to be terrible or anything but they aren’t going to replicate their Saban dominance in this portal/12 team playoff era.

Bama isn’t immune to the cycle that occurs in college football where when you’re “the man”, you live on that reputation with recruiting until suddenly, you aren’t and it’s now trendier to go somewhere else.

This was a tale of two halves. Beck lost the ball three times in the first half. He was not himself, and Alabama's offense was cooking. In the second half, Beck found himself and the adjustments Smart made at the half locked Alabama down until the that one-play bomb. Abama is still very good but it's a different game with an average Beck in the first half.

Alabama has the best QB in American College football. If he stays healthy they will be in title game.

Seems to be the real deal. Most other coaches and teams would have shit their britches after that insane comeback Kirby/Dawgs mounted.

The PAC may have been a finesse conference that fell apart but they’ve always had really good coaches.

Now three of those coaches have got their hands on SEC talent, resources, platform and we’re seeing the combination of brilliant mind Xs Os/play calling with SEC talent.

We better hope Chip Kelly likes his reduced role and stress life as just OC. Have said for years, just like with Sark and Kif, if that guy gets his hands on SEC talent, blank check for football backing…good luck…
