In all our glorious history this is the 3rd best 8 year run ever behind 1946-54 (8 seasons but 9 years) and 1992-99.

I try not to focus on what if....the above stats are what UK and Cal accomplished.

He has basically been Dean Smith only in the One and Done era. Get past any disdain you might have for Smith and acknowledging Calipari would probably win more than 2 titles over 35 years and the comparison stacks up on a number of levels. And that is damn good.
