ESPN "experts" make 2015/2016 predictions

You said they have what we had last year. They do not.

They aren't nearly as talented as we were. They don't return several key contributors from a Final Four team. In fact, last we saw them they were struggling to perform against WSU's guards.

They should be a good team. They usually are. But picking them as a title team isn't in the same ballpark as picking us was last year.

Btw, Duke was extremely talented last year with 3 first rounders.

UConn 2 years ago? Decent team that got hot at the right time. But nobody was picking them to win the title preseason.

Could Kansas win it? Of course. They just don't look like a very smart pick to me.

I said the notion of having a core group of experienced, really good players and bring in a couple elite guys and that's similar to what we had...a year UK lost 10 games and the next year go on an historic run.

Are they as good as last year UK's team? No. But again, that's the same reason people are high on UNC and Maryland. I have no idea how well they will do our is it all hype, but I do know it's a similar setup as UK had. Again, to be clear, i'm not comparing teams and players, just the concept

A lot of experts make outrageous predictions such as Vandy and Gonzaga in the final four for hits. Also Maryland lost a starter and I don't know why anyone would have them as champions. If experts just made the logical decisions then their articles would be boring to read and they wouldn't be as entertaining on television when they announce and commentate. In their minds surely they expect UK to make the final four with a legit shot at the championship.

Very Suprised Jamal Murray isnt getting any love for POY....

Had he picked Duke, he'd be labeled the best potential guard prospect in the last decade.

I mean, if ESPN is going to forcibly teabag its viewership with how great Kennard will be, can you imagine the hype had Murray chosen the Devils?

I may get hung for saying this but I can at least see why they would not choose UK to win it. Alot more picked us for the FF but we haven't exac

I don't see Jay Bilas being that type. He is going to put down who he thinks will win it all. He picked Maryland. I'm sure it's because he does believe they will win it and not so he can get hits on a website. While I'm sure this is sometimes true in this industry, guys wouldn't last very long going that route, at least the major players in the industry. You usually see that kind of crap with the sites fighting for scraps.

I think Kennard is legit. I think he is going to do really well this year. He is flat out lights out shooter. Interested in seeing him on the defensive end.

Seth Greenberg picks Vandy to make the final four. I've been thinking about picking a second SEC team but for the life of me haven't been able to figure who I like the most between TAMU, Vandy, and LSU. I think I have a little more faith in Vandy and TAMU especially now that they got Eubanks.

Final four is in April. Vandy quits every March.
