I have noticed a problem when Kentucky has possession of the ball with the shot clock off at the end of the first half. Many times this year i have seen them shoot the ball too early and the other team drive back down the court and have a opportunity to score.
I actually told my son this last night as they had the ball at the end of the half. I said lets see if they take the last shot. And again Hampton drove back down the floor and scored. To me this is one of the simple unwritten rules in basketball to do. Why give the other team a opportunity when you can just take the last shot?
Anyone else noticed this happening this year? Just kinda weird I have never seen it mentioned anywhere. But to me if we loose in the tourney by one basket and it is because the opponent scored at the end of the first half when they should have never had a opportunity it would bother me a lot. Especially after noticing it so many times this year.
