the Cats had 2 more FTs than NJIT. Duke had 17 more attempts Thant Bryant. Now I didn't see either game but that is still an amazing difference.

Bryant is one of the worst teams in the nation, so it's not surprising. Also, NJIT hit almost all of their FTs, so they weren't missing the front end of 1 and 1s.

Yep not that it matters but NJIT would beat Bryant by 15 . Both teams Duke played are garbage . Hope that makes a difference on tuesday.

Duke will always get more free throws regardless of who they play because that is just the way it is.

Look at JJ Redick's career freethrow totals at Duke then ask yourself how a jumpshooter racked up those numbers.

I really wish somebody could do a study on Duke freethrow shooting and put it into a historical context as I have a feeling you'd find quite a few anomalies.

Something along the lines of 3pt attempts plus FTA pga because how a hacking, slapping, three point shooting team can get to the line like they have so many more times than their opponents is insane.
